I really wanted to try the ramen, but I cannot resist an unagi bowl whenever I see it on a menu. That and the prawn tempura were excellent. Next time we're in Modesto visiting family, I'm going to hope it's winter so I can try their ramen!

Cozy restaurant reminded me of home (Hawaii). When you walk in you are greeted by the cashier that will take your order. The atmosphere was great since the spot is known for hawaiian bbq, self serve water and the awesome part was they serve you your order at your table! The ladies were very hospitable and checked on us frequently to check if we needed anything. We had ordered the grilled calamari and wasn't expecting the calamari to be swimming in teriyaki sauce but totally...

We've never been to this place, but my youngest s on had heard if it, since there are others in other towns. The place is small but comfortable. I liked the fact that the menu had pictures. It was a GREAT help since I'm not very familiar with the names. So just by looking at the photos we ordered...
