This is one of the newer Save Mart locations and its huge! Great selection of items. However the quality of service has definitely gone down since their opening and the area its in is sketchy. They had to stop their innovative delivery service because of thieves and there's also people who camp in the parking lot at night.It's not a bad place to visit at night but I recommend bringing a friend with you.

Was dissatisfied with my tritip sandwich's and tri tip salad tonight. Typically there's a good amount of tri-tip on their sandwich's however tonight there was not much meat at all. Dissatisfied for the first time perhaps it was just the associate who prepared our sandwiches tonight. Bad luck. I will say the ladies and gents that work in the restaurant are always pleasant. TY
Teach your employees that no means no. I don't want to participate in whatever stupid promotion you have going on. I really don't want to participate the second time and when your cashier ignores both rejections and tries to hand it to me anyhow, your company is at risk of never getting another dime from me. NO is a complete sentence. I shouldn't have to justify my choice or bebadgered by a socially inept employee.

The two times I've came here I've gotten the worse customer service even the customers that go here are rude. Not sure if it's a racial thing or what. The first time I came in I got attitude just because I was asking for a fork for the potato salad I had purchased at the deli. The second time I was checking out and my daughter was standing next to a white lady and my daughter pointed at some watermelon she had at her self check out (mindful that my daughter is 2 and curious) and this lady straight un snatched all her things so my daughter wouldn't grab them. I apologized and said my daughter is learning her fruits and this lady straight up ignored me. I'm sorry I didn't know I was in a high end grocery store. Lady we are in Modesto get out of here with you racist crap.

Went to get me a nachos Supreme because I had never tried one. As I was asking questions about the meat I ask what the price difference was with the tritip and ground beef.. the lady was very rude and said tritip is beef with a very snuddy attitude. Then later on at the check out I was with someone who needed to pull money off their ebt to pay rent. As she can't afford the extra amt charges. The manager and checker were very rude to the person and embarrassed them for pulling money off.

Terrible customer service and rude staff. Management looks the other way as cashiers disrespect, berate and practically harass customers. We have been shopping at this store since it opened but things have slowly degraded throughout all the departments. Skip this location and just drive North to Riverbank or South to the Scenic stores.
