Scotty's Doughnuts & Teriyaki Chicken

Service could be way more friendly. Got a dozen assorted donuts for $14, apple fritters are excluded in the dozen deal. Employee ended up giving us an extra donut, assuming it was because it was getting late on Christmas day.

Donuts were average, tasted like something you could get from the Safeway bakery (which are good! but nothing special). I wouldn't come back but it seems they do have super odd hours so if you're in a holiday pinch they might be open!

My family has been going here for generations and we still enjoy their foods. Nothing has changed here, feels like the 90s. I highly recommend.

I always get the teriyaki bowl. The people are nice and its been in modesto for along time. So the place does need an up grade to be honest but I would still go order food from there.

This place is so so dirty......the donuts are not fresh , they are not made everyday .....the lady who works there is very nice and the soda seems safe to drink from the machine

I come here quite often and get a chicken bowl extra chicken with no teriyaki sauce and extra hot sauce and boy do they deliver! My man and I share this meal and are in love!

I had never tried Scotty’s egg rolls, so on the recommendation of my sisters I added 10 egg rolls to my order of Teriyaki Chicken bowls.
First: I can’t say enough good things about their chicken bowls… so packed with meat, veggies and rice… and so delicious. On top of which you get a BIG tub of teriyaki sauce with each plate. I also LOVE that you can order the chicken bowls with no rice & extra veggies at no charge (for those watching their carbs).
Second: the egg rolls were huge, and tasted fantastic. Price: 2 for $3.50, and worth every penny.
Last: we had the grandkids in the car when we pulled up to the drive through for pickup, the woman (owner?) who handed us our bags of food ALSO handed my daughter a small paper bag FULL of donut holes, explaining they were for the kids. I was so impressed with her kindness, not to mention the fast, and friendly service.
Tip: I would recommend calling ahead to order.
Scotty’s Donuts & Teriyaki Chicken is worth giving a try.

P.S. I had read a review that said Scotty’s has the best cream filled donuts. That’s an understatement! They will fill any donut of your choosing (splitting the donut, and spreading a thick layer of their homemade “cream”). It's a cross between true Bavarian cream and whipping cream. Haven’t been able to find quality cream like this anywhere for years. Any filled donut is $3+, but worth twice the price.

Best Donuts around and wonderful huge Teriyaki Chicken Bowl with rice and vegies that can feed 2 people! When they are available their cream filled donuts are heaven!
