I come off the freeway every week and stop at this location! I went to the bathroom and was going to order when this rede long hair employee said bathroom is only for customers!!
1. I was going to buy but when she was rude I walked out!!
2. DONT EVEJUDGE ABOOK By its cover!!!
3. The district manager doesn’t do her job either! I’ve left her a few msgs about this location and no reply!!!!
4. Tell your employees they only sell coffee not guard whose a customer and whose not!!!

I ordered mine and my family's coffee and it was the wrong kind and mine had almost no whipped cream. Also,the employees don't pay attention to you standing waiting to order.

Normally I would refrain from posting a petty review on a large chain business. Today i walked in this Starbucks two people were working one was not busy. I walked to the register and the gal standing by espresso machine justed looked at me after standing there for about 5 minutes she was walks over and asked "what do you want" I politely ask for the coffee and compliment the new coffee machines that makes single serve cups of black coffee. I frequently stop at Starbucks acoross California and it's a known thing that many Starbucks let there black coffee get cold. The gal looks at me and rudly says I don't notice the difference from the new machines and old. She was very rude for no apparent reason it's a shame because I love this Starbucks I will actively avoid spending my money here moving forward because of that gal. This occured 11-13-24 around 11 a.m

7 people working and after 5 minutes I had to get someone’s attention to take my order at the service counter. 100% of their attention goes to drive-thru customers. After sitting with my coffee, I observed the same thing happening to a young lady and had to ask someone who was mopping to please help her at the counter.

I wasn’t greeted by anyone there. Starbucks has clearly abandoned the concept of customer service!!!!!!! I can get shitty service ANYWHERE and get it much cheaper!!

I love the people here, not just the employees because they're absolutely wonderful, but the customers are friendly here too. Many other Starbuck's locations, the customers have an heir of entitlement to them, like they're secretly owners and shot callers, and certain people don't belong there. This place is different. In fact, too much so. I come here almost daily as I live alone in Modesto with no family and friends for several hundred miles, if not thousands. My only issue is that this Starbucks allows this one homeless guy to practically live there. He's there evrey time I am and he has a smelly dog with fleas. I'm not saying he isn't nice and that his dog is unfriendly. I'm saying the place smells like dog and the dog has fleas and I feel uncomfortable with my food exposed. He cleans his dishes and dog bowls at the sinks where the restrooms are located, and he takes up an entire corner with his dog. I feel badly for him, and I do understand that Starbuck's caught a lot of flack for discriminating against black people and homeless people in the past, so they have to be really careful, but there has to be some degree of what they allow. I used to drive Paratransit in upstate NY, and we had a blind couple that brought their two dogs. It was a small process, but we had to stop letting them ride due to clenliness and the smell/inconvenience it caused others. They left the entire shuttle covered in hair and they had fecal matter on their clothes, which would be left on the seats. Imagine the smell. They couldn't return as passengers until they took care of the problem. They did, and in a couple of months, they were back. We were all happy. There has to be a shelter he can go to or maybe he can hang out at the library when they're open. I do understand there aren't a lot of solutions, but living in Starbuck's during business hours isn't one of them. I spend at least 2 to 4 hours there about 4 to 5 days out of each week, but I'm not bathing and doing dishes in the restroom sinks and I don't have the entire lounge area smelling like dog. I had to use the restroom so badly once, I went, and the smell of dog was just too pungent, so I just packed up my electronics and left, as I didn't want that smell sticking to my clothes. I don't have a problem with the homeless. There are about 4 others that are there too, but they don't treat it lie their persona home either. This guy would spray a half can of suntan spray and fog up the entire lounge. They did put a stop to that though. I know people need comfort pets. I would like one myself, but there has to be something that can be done or somewhere this guy can go. I truly feel badly for him, but part of it is he doesn't care what anyone else thinks or that he's imposing. Even the person I believe is the manager seems to be upset about the situation and not being able to do anything about it.
