WOW! I've attempted to come here a few times not realizing it was during the midday close, however today we came for dinner. I am so glad we did. The service was exceptional and thoughtfully attentive but not overbearing. The pan fried gyozas were delicate and flavorful. The spicy edamame were the most flavorful and well balanced I've tried in town(and I've tried them all). I got the (haha) Dirty old man roll and every bite was delicious and well rounded. The miso soup was perfectly hot and the hot sake was filled to the brim. All in all an absolute pleasure of a dining experience. 10/10 my only regret is not coming here sooner.

Absolutely love Sushi Garden, I try to come for the sushi (because the chef is actually from Japan) but the Pork Katsu steals my heart every single time. After my vacation in Japan of Oct '23, eating at certain places just doesn't feel the same to me anymore. Sushi garden however, rekindles my love for Japanese cuisine in America. The best time to come is during the lunch specials so you can get miso soup, salad and a California roll with your meal. The sushi is amazing but I cannot stop recommending the pork katsu, my all time favorite item here.

we haveen coming for years. was recently purchased by new owner. Food definitely, noticeably different. Teriyaki chicken was cold and sauce cold.gyazo was very cold, tempura batter was not light and fluffy. vegetables were thick, grilled edemame is tasteless, miso soup seems thinned out or different brand. Sushi is not if same quality just so SAD to see food go way down. our waitress and Fred are the BEST New cook needs to go back to old recipes and not cut corners

Their wait time for a call in order was ridiculous. I was promised 25-30 minutes and arrived to pick up my order at 25 minutes. I waited an additional 30 minutes for my order. This is the last time we give them our business and I waited patiently. It must be the new ownership. No apology for the long wait was given. By the time I got home, which was less than five minutes away, the tempura wasn’t warm any longer and it was soggy. I suspect it was made early on and sat while our sushi order took so long to make. What a disappointing experience

Was excited to return here as I had a pleasant experience last time. They were attentive, considerate of my disability, and the food was tasty.Upon my return a week later, I received the exact opposite.The waitress was nice overall, but completely left me hanging after my food came and I asked for spicy mayo to start eating my food. 15 mins passed and I was completely ignored. It took another waitress to go and grab it. As I’m typing this out, the original waitress has failed to acknowledge me. Such a weird experience. But when you’re dining at lunch hour, I anticipate they will be more focused on the larger groups for bigger tips. Little do they know I tip well above the standard.As someone who has worked in the service industry, I understand the challenges that come during work. The best thing they could have done is let me know they’re busy. However, the fact that I continue to be ignored means this staff requires better etiquette and hospitality training.It’s insane that 30 mins later in here without my check.At this point, I will not be making a return from my Brentwood home to here. It’s rather disappointing.Note to staff: don’t ignore your lone diners. We might be food critics or people trying tog eat away from the hospital nearby for some comfort. Major failure.
