Excellent Indian cuisine in the heart of Central Valley. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. We arrived just 30 minutes before closing, but the staff graciously welcomed us in and took our order without any hesitation. Highly recommend for authentic Indian food in Stanislaus.

I placed a phone order for pickup—chicken biryani (extra spicy) and vegetable samosas—and this place absolutely delivered. The portions were generous, especially the biryani, which came out perfectly moist and genuinely extra spicy without crossing into “too hot to enjoy.” It had that ideal balance of heat and flavor that keeps you going back for another bite.
The vegetable samosas were excellent—golden brown, crisp, and cooked to perfection. Easily some of the better samosas I’ve had in the area.
Service was just as impressive. The young man at the counter was friendly, welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed, including to‑go silverware and plates. They even threw in some vegetables and a gulab jamun dessert free of charge, which was a really thoughtful touch.
If you’re in Modesto and craving solid Indian food with great service, I definitely recommend giving Tandoori Flame a try.

Chicken seeks kebab— horrible, dry, no taste all red when asked why, they said they added colors..
Don’t order it save your money. If you crave for kebabs go to any Mediterranean place they wud have better kebabs.

On the way from Yosemite to SF, we found this Indian restaurant. Decided to ditch sandwitches on the way and drove straight for 2 extra hour to have Indian food. I must say it was worth the wait. It is a contemporary indian restaurant. If you want to eat good punjabi food this is the place.

This little place is awesome! I went with family at lunch on a Sunday and the staff was super gracious, with quick friendly service. My partner and I are vegan while the rest of our family are meat eaters, and our waiter was really great at recommending vegan dishes and what meat dishes are the best. The food was extremely yummy! Mistakenly, I thought the portions looked small at first, but I was so wrong, it was super filling!! Yum!! We loved it. The restaurant was very clean, and not loud so our family could easily chat without issue. Great little spot, absolutely recommend!
