Prices weren't crazy like everywhere else, and the service was speedy (although, we were the only ones inside). The food was great, and it wasn't sopping wet like some other restaurants. Would come again.

There is a high number of Mexican restaurants in Modesto, most of them not good. Taqueria Cardenas is an exception. Hands down one of the best spots in the Central Valley. My only complaint is that they stopped giving free chips with your burrito.
Chile Relleno was awesome. Food here is really good. Has that home made quality 👌. Señora Gloria is awesome kind and attentive and helpful. I've never been there before. This was my mom's and I first time. We definitely will stop by when we're in modesto area again.
