There is a high number of Mexican restaurants in Modesto, most of them not good. Taqueria Cardenas is an exception. Hands down one of the best spots in the Central Valley. My only complaint is that they stopped giving free chips with your burrito.

Chile Relleno was awesome. Food here is really good. Has that home made quality 👌. Señora Gloria is awesome kind and attentive and helpful. I've never been there before. This was my mom's and I first time. We definitely will stop by when we're in modesto area again.

Prices whited out on menu board and no prices on website either. Burrito was made wrong. 45 dollars for 3 people. Mediocre food. Mexican taqueria across the street 8-9 dollar dishes with menu on the website as well. Best to try the place across the street.

Quite expensive. I ordered two street tacos with rice and beans. It costs me $20. They covered the prices on the menu. It looks like they charge whatever they want. Make sure you ask how much before you pay. I wouldn't go there again.

Fantastic tacos, good cake out piping hot! Had two Al pastor tacos and a quesabirria. Both were exquisite, and the gal helping me was very nice ✨
