Ordered burrito thru DoorDash. I usually order from establishments I run across while out exploring. However I took a chance on this place while at home and was glad I did. The only question I have is “why is the regular and super burrito the same price?”.

Got a quesadilla, and nachos. Both were big portions, and super tasty! Also…. The salsa bar is spot on!! They do sell bottled and canned beer!

This was our first time there as we were passing through. I had a delicious pork burrito, and my husband had Taco Truck Tacos. The chips and salsa were very tasty. We would definitely return.

One of the best if not the best Taqueria‘s around from the atmosphere to the food always a great experience when we come here and we actually come here a lot. The Location itself is in one of the most awesome neighborhoods in Modesto. If you’re local I don’t have to tell you this you already know.

Visited Bookish for local bookstore day and this place is right next door. Food was excellent. Finally a restaurant that knows how to season food. The salsa bar is the best I’ve seen with at least 4-5 salsas, guacamole, lemon wedges, chopped onions etc. The kind of place we will drive 2 towns over to have again and again.

I have been dining here since 2001 when it first opened. It was a big deal getting a Mexican restaurant in Roseburg Square back then. They make the food quick and always delicious. I also like the newer (last 2 years) remodel of the dining facility.

We ordered through their little ordering tablet thing, super easy to use, but since everything was so cheap we ordered a bit more because we assumed it would be small portions- NO NOT THINK THIS! When the kind server brought everything to the table I laughed so hard! The plates filled up the entire table and we had no clue where to start. I ate my ceviche on tostada and like 1/4 of my asada fries and I had to tap out. The servings were HUGE and super tasty. I genuinely enjoyed this place and will absolutely be back! The service was spectacular, they were so very kind there, and the atmosphere was just as good with enjoyable decor and the sound of people having fun and enjoying their time. Highlt recommend!

Decent place I go often but do not recommend ordering from any app I paid $20 for a meal and didn't receive 1/2 the items and on the other item I ordered they put stuff I asked them not to due to dietary restrictions. I called and they admitted to getting it wrong and said they'd call back but never did. Def do not recommend Using uber eats for this place. A waste of $45

Awesome food, atmosphere, and service! I ordered a wet carne asada burrito and it didn’t disappoint. It was delicious! For my beverages I had a mandarin Jarritos and a Sidral Mundet Apple Soda. The chips and salsa were amazing as well.

Always excellent food, staff and location! In all my years living within College Manor, this Taqueria has remained special and consistent throughout. In all honesty, they've changed little if much in 0ver 25 years and that truly doesn't involve the food what so ever. Additionally, they've remained rather affordable and portion size a fantastic, delicious deal!

We’ve enjoyed coming to this welcoming neighborhood spot for over a decade. The owner passed within the last few years, but it remained in the family and they’ve continued serving delicious high quality food. In fact, every week our kids tell us “hey… it’s taqueria Tuesday”.

Never had anything we didn’t like, but our favorites are beef fajitas, the carnitas or pastor super nachos, and the asada super fajita burrito. I also love their tortilla soup whenever I’m sick. We’ve wanted to try the birria stuffed quesadilla, but it’s hard not to get your favorites. So come back frequently and try it all! They have a pretty tasty breakfast menu, too.

They’ve had a lot of new staff over the last few years, and we know the service industry is often full of contention. Mistakes happen, and so I recommend checking your to go orders before leaving.

If you asked me "is this the best Mexican food in town?" My answer would be no. HOWEVER, they are consistent here. You always know what you're getting and the food is good a solid 4.25/5. Don't expect a earth shattering experience, but it is a good solid option.

I travel all over the United States for work and like to try mostly independent non-chain restaurants. I ended up ordering the Fajita and I have to say, this place is EXCELLENT. This is some of the best AUTHENTIC Mexican food I've ever had.

I went there on Sunday and ordered the birria quesodillas with my husband and friend and all 3 of us ended up with food poisoning. I was out of work for two days and almost went to the ER for dehydration.
