Kody Day

$30.45 for a a side of rice and a side of beans. When the girl at the register told me the price I did a double take and said “for the side of rice and beans?” And she confirmed with a yes. I just wanted to make sure I was being charged for the right items before I left this bad review but sure enough I got charged what they charge. Those prices are ridiculous and obviously price gouging. Businesses that do that should not stay in business it’s bad for the community.

Hidden away near Smart n Final is this small family run Taqueria. Sat and ordered a couple of burritos with my significant. I enjoyed a very flavorful carnitas burrito while my wife chose the asada chicken one. The 2 salsas were tasty but not too spicy. We were the only ones sitting but I noticed quite a few to-go orders being picked up.

Inaccurate order, unstable tables and average food for a sit down restaurant price. Go elsewhere.

Service is always good. Food tastes good. Price is high. Not a big amount of food. I ordered a lunch special and soda it was 16 bucks for a taco size flour tortilla for a quesadilla. barely any bens and rice. For 16 bucks I would of had to order more food for my guy. This is the second time lunch has cost me 20 bucks or close to it here. Its good. But I wont eat here as often. Fonzis at the hub is awesome too and for 10 bucks I take food home.Parking: parking is not great at lunch time. Busy parking lot for a shopping center.

Their food is not good, their condense area is nasty, and their prices are rediculous. I can get a horchita for 2.99 in Turlock of main St and soderquist delicious food there. This place wants $6 for a large horchita. Save your money so you won't be disappointed for buying their nasty food. You will be disappointed too. Don't say I didn't warn you

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while passing through Modesto. We both ordered a wet Burrito. Not only were they incredibly tasty, but they were also HUGE. We each took more than half with us and ate them later for dinner.

Customer service is nice and friendly. Carne asada looks like boil meet not even carna asada. Pastor test like carnitas with sauce

Excellent food!! Can you say deliciouso? My Super Burrito, asada, was so good. I ate the whole thing. The service is great and I was eating within a few minutes of ordering. The atmosphere is light and the restaurant is very clean. A great place to stop in and have a seat with friends or a lunch break. Bueno, Bueno, Bueno!!!

Great food and the flavors are spectacular! My wife ordered green sauce but they gave her red. I however, ordered the red sauce. I had a Michelada with Pacifico Beer. It was delicious. I had a burrito and an enchilada with carne Asada. My wife had a Chile relleno and a chicken enchilada. Both of our dinner plates were served with beans and rice. We dined in, so we were served chips and salsa.

After the first time I ate here, I knew I would be back. It's one of my new favorite spots. Lots of choices on the menu. The food is fantastic. Very reasonably priced. Great service from the staff and the place is nice and clean.

Was told about this place by my wife's CO worker! Meet wifey 4 lunch n I was Amazed at how quick my food was done, how delicious it was, and the girls working there were so nice! I ordered a non spicy shrimp meal as I have bad stomach issues, and that meal was perfect! No heart burn, no problems what so ever. A little cutty spot that is underrated! A must try! Will be back soon!

Deceptive business practices; will not be coming back. Is it worth it?I have been coming here for two years, averaging at least once a week when I am in town. Today I ordered “the lunch special” combo I always get (enchilada and tamale) with a bottle coke and was told the total was over $16 as my card was being ran. I asked what did I order that the total should be that high? The girl at the counter then points to a small handwritten sign posted a bit higher than waist level that says “our prices are changing, sorry for the inconvenience”, although the handwritten prices on the overhead menu were unchanged (combo still said $8.50 and was now being charged $11 for it).I explained that they probably shouldn’t be charging the “new” price until they actually change the displayed prices, as it plays into the customer’s decision to even place an order, and is an unethical practice, if not illegal. Everybody working there acted like there was nothing wrong with this, as if they wouldn’t ask any questions if the situation were reversed. ?Requested a refund and went next door to the burger place, which will be my new go-to for lunch.
