I just pulled a long black hair out of my pad Thai. We have been coming to this restaurant for years, and this has never happened, so I'm going to assume something has changed, like the chef or the cooking standards (like wearing a hair net). My husband refused to complain, but I will because I darn near lost my appetite since it happened to ME. So, should the owner be reading this, I'm Rock's wife...(And I would like a courtesy pad Thai to make up for it.) Other than this mishap, we LOVE this place and the staff, which is why I feel compelled to tell you about it. Thanks.

Thai House is definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in Modesto. My family has been going there for years. My children also love to eat there and they are usually very picky. Our favorite dishes are the papaya salad, the beef jerky, the Seafood Tom Yum, and their Pad Thai. They also have a really good mango, a sweet sticky rice desert. Everyone is always super friendly and welcoming. A must try if you haven't! You won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: Very family kid friendly.

Loved this place! Got there a little before 5pm (they open at 4:30pm for dinner) and by 5:30pm, the place was packed! Obviously a fave for Nidesto locals, and the phone rang nonstop too! My server was lovely, funny and the food was fresh and awesome! Highly recommend it and if I get to Modesto again, I will go back!
