Got there about three, it wasn't crowded. The service here is outstanding.

Sad. This place was good but appears to have closed down in less than a year. Didn't believe the yelp posting that it was closed and drove there today, hoping it was wrong. Yelp was not wrong. Sign says they are officially closed. Back to looking for a quality bbq joint in Modesto. *sigh*

Very good. I recommend the pork belly burnt ends. The ribs are fantastic. Try the bbq beans and the chichironnes.

Sitting outside of Almanac and eating Burnt Ends, my super picky son refuses to eat most things. He gave in and tried the potato salad and absolutely loved it! We had the chicken, deep fried mac balls, potato salad and burnt ends... every single items was above and beyond delicious!! Can you guys come out to Vacaville????

Awesome service and food chili cheeses fries, ribs, and more. A must stop. The home made chicharrones were amazing. Start with the chili cheese fries and then get a geo meant combo. I had the homemade potato salad. It was delicious. Don't miss out, stop today.

This is our new favorite bbq restaurant. The food is plentiful, hot and delicious. I had the dirty fries and husband had a pulled pork sandwich. Chef Heather is very attentive.

Love trying new places. Atmosphere was great. Janay was our server and she was awesome. My son and I both ordered the 4 meat plate. The pork burnt ends are like pork candy. The macaroni and cheese was a table favorite as well. Biggest down fall was the napkins and music. For a BBQ place they need better napkins. Thicker and sturdier. Not bad if that's the only problem.
No good. No flavor on meats . Trip tip had no flavor. Had to use a lot of sauce . Brisket was cooked with lots of juice. No flavor . I'm not even sure if they even used their grill.

I've been in The Burnt End several times. Their food is pretty good for a commercial BBQ place. Customer service is a hit or miss. It's clean inside. Ok location. I've been dismayed to learn of their mistreatment of employees and non payment of staff. The food was good enough to go back, if I was craving BBQ I didn't feel like cooking, even with times the customer service wasn't good but I cannot in good conscious give my money to a place that would treat employees this way. So, for that reason, I won't go back. And I think other customers have a right to know this.
