We had an awesome time axe throwing! Brittany was our hostess, and she made the whole experience even better. She was super friendly, patient, and gave great tips to help improve our technique. You could tell she really wanted everyone to have fun and feel comfortable. She was also very accommodating with our group and kept the energy up the whole time. Highly recommend this place... and if you get Brittany, you’re in good hands!

I've been here twice and have had such a lovely experience both times! The gals bartneding the days I went were so kind, prices are totally fair, they went above and beyond to accommodate our large group both times. Absolutely FANTASTIC staff!

By far the worst customer service stood there waiting to be helped for 10 minutes while everyone else got service.

We had a grand time at The Smart Axe Modesto!! Our entire family (nine adults) went and we had a grand time cheering each other on. Britney quickly got us registered and was so fun to work with!

A great first experience axe throwing! Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the blood orange beer too - we might be back just for that! Great activity for a date or a small group. Highly recommend you check this location out.

We brought some (very competitive) family members from out of town with us --- it was so fun! Sunday afternoon between Christmas and New Years -- it wasn't terribly busy, likely due to the holidays. The two lanes we had had pretty chewed up targets (it was difficult to see the numbers and lines) -- but our hatchets still stuck when we threw them correctly! We had fun with the many game suggestions. We'll be going back with friends and family, especially now that our kids are old enough (and they really liked it!). Thanks for having a place like this here in Modesto -- we don't have too many businesses like this around.

I suprised my honey with a booking. What a fun activity to do together. We had a Blast! The owner was so sweet and friendly. Great atmosphere, loved the beers on tap & 80's playlist. What a great spot! Super Fun!!

Super fun experience! Friendly staff and cool music 🤟🏽 The hour time frame is just enough as it’s so addicting trying to stick all your axes! Definitely will be returning soon!

I just want to say that it was such a blast coming here with my colleagues. Shannon was so accommodating and friendly with all of us. Not to mention we went in the middle of summer and it was so nice inside with the A/C on and being able to channel a lot of strength into axe throwing without getting too hot at all. The refreshments were just what we needed (great variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages) and there was enough counter space available so that I could lay out chips and pizza that I brought as well as utensils, plates and napkins. The price is very reasonable as well. 25 dollars for an hour for all the stress we relieved was totally worth it and I would definitely come here again and recommend others to try as well.
