All I can say is Chefs Kiss! I was absolutely amazed by the food! Service was fantastic! So glad to find such a rear gem in Modesto! Reminds me of my Grandmother's biscuits in the south. I did not even need to season the food which is rare for me. They will need a second location soon cause baby.... Worth the wait! I will be back!

We had the most amazing breakfast experience! The chicken fried steak was absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. And the biscuits? So soft, fresh, and full of flavor… truly some of the best we’ve ever had!

What really made this place special, though, was the customer service. Every waitress and waiter was so kind, attentive, and welcoming to everyone. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The owner, Fernando, even takes the time to personally get to know his customers, which makes such a difference.

It honestly feels like you’re eating at a family member’s house — warm, comforting, and full of heart. We will definitely be coming back again!

First time here and really enjoyed the food. If you like biscuits and gravy, this is the place. You can call ahead for a table as the restaurant is very busy. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Food was terrible. Pancakes tasted raw. And food did not out live up the hype. I will never come back.

My first visit was ok. The biscuit was great. The rest of the food was just ok, I had the chicken fried steak. It is overpriced. Nonetheless, we went for a second visit to try some other dishes. I added my name to the list (party of 2) and sat with a wait of 10 minutes for a table. After 15 minutes and after watching 3 other couples being seated before us, who all arrived at least 10 minutes after we arrived, we decided to leave. The list at this point had been replaced with a fresh sheet of paper containing only 2 names, both were crossed off. The list with my name was no longer there. Now, I understand the immense amount of stress it is to read names off of a list in order... it ranks up there with brain surgery and rocket science; but being treated that way is inexcusable. The staff at Biscuit Basket did not care that we were on the list. One of those couples seated before us was on the same list as us. I wonder how many more parties they would have seated before realizing that they made a mistake. People do not like being ignored or overlooked. We waited patiently while the same staff walked by, smiling and nodding, as if they were in on some twisted inside joke. I highly recommend not coming here. I didn't even get an apology on the way out. No acknowledgment of our departure from any of the 5+ staff who had smiled at us for the past 15 minutes sitting in the waiting area. No follow up from the man who wrote my name on the now absent list. No thank you... you will get better service at the DMV. Imagine sitting as the only couple by the doors for 10 minutes, and the next 3 couples that walk in and sit down in the waiting area are being seated before you. That is downright negligent and rude. Just read the names on the list.

Everything was delicious, but it can be a little noisy when it’s a full house.
