Absolutely my most favorite spot in all of Modesto. Their sushis and soups are soooooo good, I highly recommend the Hot n Spicy BBQ Ramen Spicy, def the BEST and my top favorite. No other restaurants do the soups like they do. I’d be heartbroken for eternity if this restaurant shut down. absolutely 10/10 of a spot for asian food, much better if you bring your friends and family

First time ever coming here. If there was six star rating this is the place. I cannot emphasize the excellent service at Tokyo Express. Very attentive and friendly. My wife and I felt very welcomed as if invited into a home. I don't remember ever feeling this way at any restaurant in a long time. The food was really delicious packed with flavor. There no restaurant that expresses their gratitude and provides excellent service like what I experienced at Tokyo Express. This restaurant really shines for that. Thank you.

This great little restaurant is perfect. It's not about bells and whistles. They make what they do really well, not trying to be fancy but perfect. We will be coming back.
The person who took our order was so attentive and friendly and the garlic chicken was *chefs kiss* amazing. They also have a great lunch menu with lots of options.

Sashimi dinner w/ seaweed salad. Tried a special beer,,the tangerine hazy pale ale. All was satisfying as was the cost. Very friendly service with smiles. Great experience. 👍
