I highly recommend to try this spot at least once. Found this hidden gem in downtown Modesto. Great food, a large selection of Japanese and Chinese food to choose from, awesome vibes and excellent service, not the biggest place but I had no issues with getting get a seat.

this place was amazing!! most of us got ramen or udon, and it was so tasty! the service was really good too, he offered free refills for us on our lemonades, gave us extra napkins, and was more than happy to push some tables together for our large group.

First time trying sushi ? it was better than expected... Nice chill environment waiter was so nice and always checking if we needed anything my drink was never empty and everything we asked for was brought to us quick.. this was a good first experience for me recommended this place...

Wow what a hidden gem! This is a Japanese/Chinese fusion restaurant with authentic and unique dishes. The owners and staff are extremely welcoming and provide great service. The portions are large and the food is better than similar restaurants in the area. Please dont overlook Tokyo Express! It's the perfect hole-in-the-wall spot!
