My friend had really high hopes for this restaurant, and I had a bad feeling about everything. This place had no customers during lunch time which only added to the eerie, quiet, and uncomfortable atmosphere. The service was kind but felt very desperate and forced. When I went to pay for my meal, the man who was supposed to ring me up told me to come behind the counter to pay. This made me very uncomfortable. If my friend hadn't already paid for her meal and sat down, I would've left without a word. The restaurant was dirty. Nothing looked organized with stock overflowing from boxes left at the front of house. The dead bugs on the windowsill had been there so long they collected a few good layers of dust. After receiving our food, I noticed that everything was served in either a styrofoam, paper, or plastic container. Hot miso soup in styrofoam, my friend's sushi rolls on a plastic tray, and my meal conveniently already in a to-go box. No one is on dish-duty at this restaurant because there are NO dishes. As for the food, I can safely say that this was the worst meal I have ever had. I ordered the beef teriyaki that came with a side of rice, salad, and miso. The beef had no taste with a rubbery texture. It was drowned in this "teriyaki sauce" that tasted like they concocted it themselves. I've also never known Asian salads to be spicy, so the weird glaze that was drizzled over my lettuce caught me off guard. The shredded onions in the miso soup looked like it was an attempt to make the soup taste fresher, and it didn't work. What is seen in the photo I attached is what was left of the mystery meat I pulled from the back of my throat. Not only would I not recommend this place to anyone, I wrote this review to WARN everyone about it.

The location is placed in a tight space so keep your eyes out because you'd miss this gem. Not alot of seating but food is amazing.

Wonderful people and great food! They're always so kind and courteous the entire time you're there. They'll even walk across the store to hold the door open for you-- which is totally unnecessary but absolutely appreciated. I've started coming here often. Try it out if you haven't!

I called for take out, I paid 80 and tbh it’s a disappointment, the spicy tuna is so tiny and isn’t spicy, the California roll barely had anything in it and they were tiny , the only thing good was the cap ń crunch rolls the spicy tuna and California roll are not for dinner tbh the size of them are like snack size super tiny

So we have been trying several different Chinese food spots and came across this one because of its good reviews talking about great food and the food was a complete bismal so I don't get what people were talking about. Everything tasted like it was cooked in burnt oil, the chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein had literally no flavor and huge pieces of chicken on top of those dishes without being atleast chopped up . The deep fried prawns was in a weird grayish color just like the egg rolls and pot stickers and fried cream cheese wonton not golden like they are supposed to be and the batter wasn't even fully cooked inside of the egg rolls which left a weird taste in your mouth. And the Mongolian beef was ok but very chewy meat and again a burnt taste. And the orange chicken was not horrible, but as you have a little more the flavor was not there. Don't see what people see in this place . Nice atmosphere and nice man who was running the cash register but definitely our first and last Tokyo express experience.

Great service, amount of food is very generous and prices are very good! We will definitely come back here. We felt in a “little Tokio” area. Sorry I don’t have pictures, food was too good!

When you come in you are immediately greeted by the kindest staff you'll ever meet. The food is just as good, and their is practically no wait. Highly recommend!Parking: As long as downtown isn't busy, it's easy to get parking, otherwise you might need to expect a walk

I’m not big on reviews but I think as an establishment you have to be able to do the basicsA California roll with no cucumber and cut, not shredded WalMart frozen crab is pretty bad.And a golden salmon roll, 5 palm size pieces never seen it beforeWasn’t for me but might be for you (4/10)

I liked the service most overall. I ordered an hour before closing and the fish was not as cold and a little too thawed.
