Chicken yakitori was great, but egg rolls were burnt and not good at all. Only leaving a somewhat negative review because my chicken yakitori was burnt into the plastic container it came in! If you are at all concerned about micro plastics getting into your food this place is not for you I promise anything at all on there menu you will be injesting sometype of plastic the food is just way too hot to be put directly into styrofoam style takeout(realistically should be used only on something cold, like sushi) think about your health!

Amazing egg rolls and combo plate. When we went there last night the owner greeted us took our order and made our food. He told us he has been there for 37 years. We were truly surprised with the 1st bite of the egg roll. My wife said they were the best she has had. I would have to agree. After that we enjoyed our combo chicken plate which was also amazing!! Their prices are also really good too. Will definately be back!!!

This is the best place for grilled chicken. And there chow mein is amazing! And thats not even the best part....they teriyaki sauce is a special home recipe. Its amazing! Recommend it!
This place is a sleeper. Their chicken is amazing. Especially their chicken yakitori. It is very good. The price is reasonable as well.

I’m not a review leaving type of person at all but this has been my favorite restaurant for almost 10 years. Tiny little hole in the wall with no AC and Christmas decorations all year long but the food is always perfect and quick. ♥️

I’ve been to this spot several times it’s my go to Chinese food than any other spot in Modesto , I always get the number 5 when I want something healthy but filling , their spring rolls are also really good
Their #13 is my favorite been coming here since i was a kid and still taste as good now like it did

one of the the Best & authentic spots for quick and simple yet very heartwarming teriyaki dishes.customer service is very straightforward and a vibe of old school greet-ful love- very positive atmosphere and respectful here.everything listed on menu you can’t go wrong, as i have no complaints on my end.but i do have my favs.. please do try their # 12. ( i know i don’t have a photo on this review to show - truly you won’t be disappointed though, a simple combo of fried rice / chow mein and their flavorful teriyaki grilled chicken.Now! as their quick finger food or appetizer, definitely the Eggrolls as shown on photo.. something about their catchy tasty ingredients. meaty and crunchy with the veggies all mixed well! it’s addictive that it’s a must for me to grab a tray.
