We love to dine at Verona Cucina. The ambience is nice and the wait staff is exceptional! Paul or Jeff are always friendly, and arrange any requests from the kitchen, such as a bowl of fresh berries—my favorite dessert.
Waiter was nice enough, but he seemed rushed. We couldn't really understand when he was telling us about the specials. He spoke fast and couldn't understand. We had appetizers, & he did not come back to take our order for close to 20-25 minutes. Overall it was a great meal.

From the moment we entered Veronas we knew we were in for a nice dinner and evening! I took my daughter in law and niece to Veronas based on the delicious dinners I have had at their Copperopolis restaurant by the same name. Looking for an upscale restaurant in Modesto Veronas would prove to be a Great find. Different menu but same quality! Our meal was Hot upon arrival, including delicious appetizers that included bruschetta and jumbo shrimp in a fresh tomato sauce base with some spicy touches.?️ aka Gamberetti di Aglio The owner Heime stepped out of his kitchen and welcomed us to his Modesto restaurant and was genuinely engaging...so unusual for a chef of this level! Our loyalty was secure at his "welcome" to my Modesto restaurant. My choice was the sole with fresh crab as part of the entree...with a delicious reduction sauce and perfectly sautéed vegs! My guests had the Papperdelle with tastes of short ribs and HOME MADE PASTA! Sauces were amazing! culinary talent - extraordinaire! Add A bottle of Pinot Noir and we were very happy.. But the best was yet to come! Dessert: Lemon infused cake with raspberry drizzle AND tiramisu I was proud I selected Veronas to treat my guests to! ?? I cant say enough about the attentive and subtle service! A great staff, great food and great Owner! I have decided Veronas is my place to take my family & friends when I want to extend the best possible setting for a lovely and delicious evening!

Went for Valentine's Day at 7 pm was only able to book outdoor seating although it was cold we got to get first dibs on the heater it was perfect the server was amazing I give him 10 stars was on it and very approachable

Visited Veronas for Valentine's Day. Waiter was very nice. However we made the reservation weeks in advance yet when we arrived they told us they were “overbooked” and made us sit outside in the cold and rain. The food was good but on our way out we noticed multiple empty tables.
What a magnificent evening we had at Verona's! The waiters were attentive and remembered us from the last time we met (they had catered an event which is where we discovered their amazing food)! The ambiance was comfortable and relaxing, the service fabulous and the food (mouth-watering lamb chops) was perfection! Thank you, Verona's Chef & Staff, for making my birthday so very memorable!
Server was attentive, but sped through the specials so fast that I only caught one of them, bread was warm had to ask for oil vinegar, drinks were brought quickly, it was so noisy in the main dining room I don't think I would ask to sit in there again on a sat. Night. My meal the shrimp was undercooked. Chicken Marsala for my mom was excellent.

The atmosphere was great. We were seated immediately; & our server was prompt with his service, well versed in letting us know what specials were offered that evening!!! The wine was delicious, great suggestion by our server!!! Unfortunately the food was below par, for this restaurant, my first disappointment after several visits to this restaurant & a bit embarrassing knowing my friends were disappointed with the food!!!
