West Coast Sourdough in Modesto absolutely deserves five stars. The sandwiches are always loaded, fresh, and full of flavor, and the sourdough bread is on another level—soft on the inside with that perfect crispy edge. The ingredients taste high-quality, and everything is made exactly the way you want it. The staff is friendly, quick, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Had to try the clam chowder bread bowl... this was probably one of the best bread bowls in the area! The chowder was chunky and delicious, the bread was toasted and crispy! Will definitely be coming back to try the sandwiches. Staff was polite and quick.

I order the clam chowder in a bread bowl, and was given in cup,. It took them 15 minutes to pour in a cup. It was cold and runny, it looked more like a potatoe soup. and Their service was the worse. would not go back, I could not even give them 1 star

The cracked pepper turkey on fresh sourdough was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Got house dressing, mustard, and all the fixings.

Never had an issue with any other sourdough and co before but got extremely sick after eating at this location for the first time. I've always gone to oakdale location or the one on pelendale rd near dale rd and never had a bad experience. I placed an online order for the first time here and the Order was not ready so i waited about 15 to 20min when the girl said she was working on it. Not too long after eating my dad And I Been throwing up the sandwich since. Will not be coming back here highly recommend driving the extra mile to the other locations or just making your sandwich at home.

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not in a wheelchair but I am handicap, was not happy to find out the Uber people park in handicap spots right in front of this place.
