I love breakfast at Casa Jimenez! However, the last 2 times I've gone and ordered the Pozole, it tasted spoiled. It had a spoiled meat smell & taste. This is not usual & I'm surprised because it's usually very delicious. Disappointed :(

Subpar experience. I went in for breakfast at about 8:50 am today (Friday), wasn’t sure whether to be seated or choose where to sit, so I asked. Then made sure to ask the server whether they accepted cards. He rolls his eyes and moans “Yes, then I sit myself. I immediately noticed I was the only woman there but that wasn’t an issue. I decided to order the chilaquiles and fortunately they were done quickly. I was taken back by how bland they looked but thought once I tried them it would be different. Nope! Still bland. I honestly couldn’t even finish my food because it just wasn’t appetizing. I normally go to this other Mexican spot across the street, near Panda Express but wanted to try this place as I had seen an ad for them in the local paper. Was definitely disappointed.I will say, their prices are very reasonable.
