My spouse was craving "JOK" Congee, she is very picky. Being in Duarte, I did not want to drive to Monterey Park, found Chan Kee on Google search and took a chance. My wife loved it. I tasted it plain without adding any condiment and it is delicious. I order the fish congee, my spouse wanted pork liver and fish combo, but they could not acomodate me. Other than that the young lady was very accommodating. I will Definitely return.
Pretty solid comfort Cantonese food! The flavors were delicious overall. Porridge was delicious and wasn’t too salty. Rice noodles were my favorite and had sesame and hoisin sauces with it. Only thing is that your clothes will smell as the restaurant doesn’t have good ventilation.
