I tried the My Sweet Heart and Jasmine Blossom. I love that they crafted speciality drinks that alrdy include toppings. The my sweet heart is milk tea mixed with rose. They actually use rose petals and probably a bit syrup because the drink has a hint of pink coloring. The boba is the perfect chewy texture and the sweetness level was good too. The jasmine blossom was refreshing and I love the mix of fruitiness with the aloe Vera. They have a self order machine but there is someone that can also take your order if you want to pay cash. I came mid day on a Friday and they only had one person on staff so if you don't use the self order, it can be a bit of a wait. The tea shop is cute and has a lot of seatings. The aesthetics of the shop is very cute and ig worthy haha.

Great customer service! New adventure in Monrovia for me, and the tea was delicious! Just what the doctor ordered for the drive home! Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of trying them out for an event and I was not disappointed! Their milk tea didn't have lactose so if you have diary sensitivity this is great! Boba was soft and sweet too.I also got to try another popular tea of theirs that I can't recall but it was just as good! It had lychee jelly as well.I will need to make a stop in monrovia to visit!Thank you to the kind ladies who served us :)

The milk tea and the malibu sun tea are really tasty. I feel like they both have the right amount of sweetness. I always worry about drinking dairy but the milk tea here is lactose free. SERVICEMichelle is awesome, friendly, and quick with the drinks!

My partner and I normally went to other Boba spots closet to our house but one was closed the other ran out of Boba!! But we weren't giving up just yet.We decided to try out Cup of Cha because it was the next closest. We're very particular about our Boba so at first we were skeptical of the low amount of reviews. Let's change that.Cup of Cha not only has adorable ambience and decorations, but I cannot speak more highly of the girl who helped us.As we were looking at the extensive menu to decide on what we were getting, Michelle helped out a few customers in the mean time. She was peppy and seemed super excited to be there and about her work. Firing off suggestions left and right to perfectly meet the customers needs. When the customers in front of us were done she treated us exactly the same with the exact same amount of gusto. She even provided us two samples of some drinks we were curious about! Never seen that before anywhere! When we provided her info on what we normally she made some suggestions again and they hit the nail on the head! Absolutely delicious Thai Tea for me and a perfectly sweet Jasmine Milk Tea for my partner! As much as we love our other spots.. I think Cup of Cha might just be the new #1 spot!! Thanks again to Michelle!

Teas and coffees were well balanced and flavorful. I've only interacted with the white girl, but she was super nice, helpful, and made sure all my drinks came out correctly.

I know I'm in trouble when a fling leads to an obsession. When we first met, I thought it would be a quick thing that wouldn't linger. But little did I know that I would become fixated. I love the way it looks. I love the way it smells. But most of all, I love the way it tastes. It gives you the type of gratification that you get from a fling without the dissatisfying sense of regret. This is the feeling that makes me coming back and turns this somewhat short pursuit of desire into a long enduring act of affection.

What a great place to take some photos and try some new tea flavors. The taro milk tea at 25% sweetness level was perfect for a diabetic like me. The OMG fruit tea in a soda can to go was an attractive and refreshing treat the next day, especially with the cute mango star jellies.

I really like the decorations in this place! The design is adorable and the interior is spacious. This is a great spot for a boba date. Although I'm not from around here, I decided to check it out while passing by. They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from, including tea, milk tea, matcha, and Vietnamese coffee. I ordered the basic jasmine milk tea with boba, while my husband got the coffeeholic. We ordered it at 50% sweetness, as recommended.Jasmine Milk Tea: The drink was good, but the milk taste was slightly diluted. The boba, however, was very good. It had a chewy texture and wasn't old.Coffeholic: The drink includes 3 shots of espresso, but I didn't really taste them. It didn't have a strong coffee taste like Vietnamese coffee usually does.Don't forget to check in on Yelp, as you can get an extra topping for free or upgrade your cup to a bottle. At the register, they sell Ube brownies. I tried the Ube Biscoff brownie and it was delicious! However, it was overly sweet due to the sugar and white chocolate in it. I would still recommend trying it though.

Went here for a spontaneous date night, expecting to grab a boba and lounge around for a bit. A couple pros and cons to Cup of Cha Tea House.Pros: The Tropical Paradise was delicious, presumably all other drinks were as amazing as this one! The lychee was delicious and the drink was tasty, but not overly sweet. The location is in a really charming area, definitely somewhere you can walk around and kill half a hour. Cons: The restaurant itself was lackluster. Ordering was all self service thus removing any level of service other than having your name called. Interior was cute and had nice touches such as their logo displayed in flowers as well as a cute lounge/seating area. My biggest issue is that they don't play any music or white noise making the restaurant feeling almost hospital like. This place has potential to be a cool little hangout spot, but falls short. To conclude, come here for good boba, but don't expect to hang around and catch up with a friend or study. The boba is right, but the vibe is off.

I choose to go here because of the organic options! They don’t charge extra for different milk options and the drinks come with toppings too! It’s so worth

Absolutely delicious tea, adorable vibes, and such a great location!! A local gem for sure - I've tried their samples that they hand out during the Monrovia farmers market Friday's but this was my first time actually stopping in (Tysm to YES tea shop superstar @SamB for the boba date haha!!)For my first visit here I was feeling something light and refreshing on such a sweltering August day so I went with the fruit-tea Mango Mojo and it was flawless. A black tea and lemonade mix with delicious hints of mango and orange topped off with a superfood punch of chia seeds - it was one of the best local teas I've ever had!! Definitely going on my rotating list of local faves. I've cut waaay back on the sugar so I got this at 25% sweetness and it was perfect - super refreshing - highly recommend! My friend got the Bronze Thaiger with oat milk and absolutely loved her drink too! My understanding is that their standard milk base is a non-dairy type cream and my friend said it's just not creamy enough but that the oat milk is a great option. I'll definitely keep that in mind for future milk tea choices. The staff was extremely friendly and fast - and they have a Yelp check in offer of a free topping or upgrade. They also had a selection of delectable Ube pastries from another local gem Sugar & Grace Bakeshop!! Always delicious!! They're right on the main strip in Old Town with tons of cozy, decorative seating to people watch, relax, and get those gram-worthy shots of your tea! Parking is either street parking or in one of the public lots and usually isn't an issue unless you visit during the Friday night farmers markets.

Boba always makes me happy so it was absolute that I needed to have it for my wedding. I was looking up boba catering and inquired with multiple services. Taste and aesthetics were important but also price for 100 guests. I emailed them on their website and communication was prompt. Those cans are also so cute, easy to display, they deliver, and overall, a very reasonable price.I visited the Monrovia location with my partner and tried multiple drinks. We don't typically drink taro milk tea but for the sake of our parents and the purple theme, we knew we'd have to order it. We really enjoyed the taste! The recommended sweetness level is 50% and it was perfect to us that way. My partner's favorite is the Malibu Sun. We tried multiple lemonades - which are not our type of drinks. Unicorn's Dreams and Panda Milk Tea were my favorite. Boba tasting has definitely been one of the most enjoyable parts of wedding planning. There are also some sweets snacks for sale. I tried one of the Ube and inhaled it. Planning to eat the rest of the snacks. There's plenty of seating inside. Parking is plenty, there's street parking and a parking lot nearby.
