HIGHLY recommend!FOOD: They have reasonable lunch specials available from which we ordered the chicken enchiladas & al pastor street taco. Both were great & very tasty. I also had a craving for chilaquiles so we ordered that off the regular menu and my cravings were very well satisfied. We forgot to order the highly recommended shrimp empanadas but that’s a perfect excuse for us to go back soon!DRINKS: I mean they are truly one of the highlights of our meal. The signature “La Sexy Michelada” was one of the best I’ve had. It literally had a whole half of a mango seasoned with chamoy & tajin balanced on a tamarind candy stick in a large glass mug liberally rimmed with chamoy & tajin. The michelada itself was perfectly made IMHO. My aunt ordered the Margarita Flight and she thought every single one was delicious & unique. Her personal fave was the cucumber margarita & mine was the mango margarita.

I really wanted to like this place because it's family-run and in Monrovia! I've been here two times. Last time, I ordered the mixta ceviche and got food poisoning. It wasn't too bad, but it was enough for me to feel ill for two days. It can get a bit pricey, but I understand since it's family-run. I love supporting small businesses. The service was excellent. I was there on a Saturday afternoon, and it was pretty empty, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

It's a small but good place , music was great. The food is good but pricey, my dad wanted to come here because he saw it on Yelp and so we took him. Service was okay too, it was busy so I understand why but it did take a while. The margarita flight we ordered was great, strong as hell. The carne asada was good, dad got the big molcajete and he was really satisfied with it.

I was super interested to try any restaurant with the word Sexy in it! Ha!! And while the vibe was nice, and the waitress was amazingly sweet- the food and drinks left a lot to be desired. For the price, I wouldn't return. $20 for 3 pork belly tacos and $17 for chorizo con huevo!? I have to assume that the 5 star reviews are not coming from Latino Americanos because this isn't it... the margarita flight was $27, and while it gave me a buzz, I'm pretty sure it was because I was drinking these on an empty stomach. I really wanted to like this place, but it's back to the drawing board for me.

Ok I gave this place 5 stars. But when we first got here we and one other table were the only ones occupied. I went with my wife my daughter and another couple. The food took quite some time to arrive. We did not get the tortillas until much much later. But here is the deal: the manager stepped up and comped the drinks. She also provided a free beef plate. She mentioned that the main chef was not working that night so things took much longer than usual. BC she and our server had a customer service mind set I gave them a high rating and I would go back! I suggest you check it out too. They have large screen TVs too for sports fans.

My party and I had such an amazing time here and we came on a karaoke night so the vibe was fun and relaxing. We will definitely return. Did I tell you how good the food was??? Wow!

Usually come here on a weekday lunch and it's never super crowded! Definitely a good lunch spot because food comes out quick and the servers are very attentive. The food is also SO good! The tacos are so big I get full after 1.4 tacos. We got the ceviche once and will probably just stick to the tacos. Overall ambiance is very relaxed and love the music box they have!Would definitely be visiting at least once a month!
