One of the best ma la Xiang guo places in the sgv area. Sometimes the food is too salty and the service is not good sometimes. But it’s pretty affordable and it’s spicy and for $20 you get potatoes meat carrots and other stuff that makes it delicious.

I used to like this place a lot. But my recent experience was so bad I have a feeling I will not be ordering from them in a long time.
I ordered the spicy chicken 辣子雞, despite the portion looks big- it’s mostly just breaded crumbs. The pieces are so small that there’s no meat - I feel I paid $13 for nothing.
I also ordered spicy intestine （干鍋肥腸 ）as this is my to go dish from Lin’s club. I noticed they put a lot of other things such as celery and potato as fillers so there was much less intestine in the dish this time.
It’s only been less than two months since my previous order and i’m very surprised how quickly their quality deteriorated.

All 6 of our family members love this place. It's our default spot for comfort and the perfect meal to end a long day. I probably wrote a review somewhere else but they deserve so much praise. Like everyone says, everything is so good, fresh ingredients and when you eat there, every dish is out with smoke straight from the wok. Seating is limited, so getting to-go is the easier option. Our usual dishes: Dry Pot Pork Ribs, Broccoli/Fish filet, noodles, house special pork ribs, tea smoked duck and mapo tofu. I wish I can try everything else on the menu!

The single lady attendant is amazing - she remembers every order and every customer. Definitely try the spicy fish, the pepper beef, the spicy crispy chicken, and the tea flavored smoked duck. The portions are large, and the food is delicious. You can request to make the food less spicy if desired. There are only three small tables.
