Damn place was closed because they sold six thousand empanada and they will reopen at 4:00PM but we left and must be a very good place for them to pump out empanada like that and they have a very little parking lot and if you come to eat? You maybe parking your car in the street

Parking: If you pull up with a pick up truck that is a full size truck, you will not be able to park it there and you better off riding a motorcycle or scooter and if delivery is available? Order and ship it to your house!

Absolutely delicious. Always made fresh, I always get the beef empanadas, just recently tried the breakfast empanadas and the chorizo was my favorite. Great hole in the wall. If you drive too fast you will miss it. Parking is a bit tricky. I've been coming for some time now and food and service is very consistent. Congratulations on your 2 yr anniversary Lord Empanada!

I recently visited this restaurant during a trip from Scotland, and it came highly recommended by family—and it did not disappoint! The empanadas were absolutely delicious, both as appetizers and in the mains and dessert. The decor is cute and cosy, creating a lovely atmosphere for a meal. What really stood out, though, was the service—outstanding from start to finish. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. And the chimichurri sauce? Phenomenal! It was hands down the best I’ve ever tried. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic food and a great dining experience.

These were the freshest and crispiest empanadas I’ve tried. They were the most expensive but I’d say it was worth it specially for including a generous amount of sauces. Not a fan of the breakfast empanadas.

I've had this spot bookmarked since it's opening, and we finally got to try it this past weekend. It was so good. We're looking forward to going back soon to try more empanadas. The service was also great. They were happy to have newcomers to the restaurant. Parking is a little tricky, but it's worth the little walk if you don't find space in the tiny driveway.

I hit this place hungry and destroyed 5 empanadas before thinking about taking a photo so you get the aftermath instead. Anyways, made the drive out to Monrovia from Santa Monica to eat these well reviewed empanadas. We ordered almost one of everything and loved them all including the apple pie for desert. Our favorite was the birria but I doubt you’ll go wrong with any of them. The birria also came with consommé that I dipped everything in short of desert. Definitely glad we made the drive!

Delicious empanadas and sandwiches! I’m not Argentinian, but the food tasted great to me! I tried the birria, spinach and cheese, black bean, and bacon breakfast empanadas. My favorites were unexpectedly the spinach and the bacon ones. I also tried the tri tip sandwich and the porchetta sandwich, though I like their empanadas better. The side salad was ok, and the fries were good. Overall, great place to try and I highly recommend their empanadas.

Dietary restrictions: Vegan empanada options

Kid-friendliness: Black bean empanada was a tiny bit spicy to me, all others were great for kids

Hidden gem. Incredible value. Be prepared to wait a few minutes while they make your meal to order. The food is fantastic for the money. Staff is cool and will take good care of you. Highly recommended.

I heard great things about the empanadas from other yelpers and finally got to try them this past weekend! We started with five and devoured them so fast, we ordered 6 more just to try all the flavors. The inside of the restaurant was pretty small and cozy, with just 5 booths. There's an outside patio area that they had set up that day to host their 3 year anniversary party. You order at the counter and they bring out the empanadas right out of the fryer pipping hot.

Ranking from the best tasting IMO:
1. Birria - the most juicy and flavorful! Dipped in consummé, the perfect bite!
2. Beef - very authentic Argentinian, great with the chimichurri
3. Pizza - like a mini deep fried calzone
4. Bacon breakfast - little bits of scrambled eggs, bacon, potato, and cheese
5. Mushroom - great for mushroom and cheese lovers
6. Soy chorizo - vegan cheese was surprisingly cheesy
7. Spinach - was okay
8. Black bean - a bit spicy

The chimichurri sauce and spicy chimichuri sauce were so good with the empanadas. We will definitely be back

I loved the customer service Zoey gave me, and shared some history of this place. Plus the spinach empanada with the green sance is so delicious. Please try.
