A great dumpling spot that is casual and comfortable. The dumplings are just like homemade and super satisfying. The sauces that are on each table are perfect for dipping the dumplings in, and add so much delicious flavor without being too spicy. The dumplings are a good size and very juicy and filling. The interior is quite small and most people do takeout. Everything is disposable and easy to clean up.

A small store Arrived around 5:30 on holiday. There was no queue. A long queue started to form behind me. Service is very good The steamed dumplings with grapefruit chicken are very refreshing. Recommended Pork soup dumplings are also delicious The skin of steamed dumplings is very thin, so be careful when picking them up. Beef noodles are thinner The braised soup is very light and sweet The beef is small but very tender The braised pork is also delicious and well worth it. A plate like that costs 10 dollars. Finally, I added some leek and shrimp dumplings The filling is very solid

Before they moved to Monrovia, one of my friends introduced me to this restaurant. It is popular but I am not sure why.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, though I feel like the place has gone downhill. They were aiming for a fancy ambiance in the restaurant, yet serving people out of plastic bowls and boxes. Additionally, my server could not answer even basic questions. He claimed he was new.
Their beef noodle soup is mediocre. Good cuts of beef, however not as tasty as competitors, The dumplings are fried in a unique way, though they were literally like eating balls of salt. I saw other customers ordering more and more dumplings, so I guess if you come here that’d be the thing to get. I consumed a lot of this cuisine growing up, and there are definitely better restaurants serving the same dishes in SGV.
