The bakery has an amazing display case of sweets & treats! However, things were TOO sweet, in my opinion. For breakfast I got a veggie tortilla española, which was tasty. I got an iced matcha latte too, but it was way too sweet. You could barely taste the matcha. I got a Napoleon cake that looked better than it tasted. IDK what the top layer was? Merengue? It was too sweet for me. And something felt off about the cream? The texture? I also got a lemon tart which is my fav treat, but theirs was just too, too sweet. It was very pretty but there was a lattice layer or icing on top that was unnecessary. Lastly, I got a chocolate croissant & it was perfection! It was the one thing that wasn’t too sweet.
If you like very sweet, this is a great place for you. Personally most of the things were just way too sweet for me. I would go here again to try more stuff tho!

I went in today and ordered during a rush. Some how my order was placed wrong. Although they were super busy the girl with the glasses that usually worked there didn’t even skip a beat and corrected the mistake. Will definitely come back and recommend to others!

Delicious and authentic recipes! Tried most of the items including breakfast and coffees. Everything is Yummy. Top on the list is Meat Pies (Pastel De Carne). Cortadito single shot is insane! Cuban cake has multiple layers of flavors almost like a guessing game. Guava, rum flavor, lemon, cream and extremely soft. Clean place and knowledgeable friendly staff.

Has potential this place but the food was cold the chips are thick to be normally crispy. I Noticed everyone had coffee and no food but I order a couple of simple tamales. Horrible cold, dry and no flavor and chips to thick to be crispy. Bought some pastries but nothing special. Coffee was good the is why the 1 star but Coffee plaxes are everywhere.

We ordered the Two For You. The menu on the wall says it comes with mariquitas. Then you get to choose 2 items from a bowl of soup, half salad, half sandwich. We ordered soup/salad, and it was not served with mariquitas. We asked if it came with them per the menu, and were informed that only the sandwich came with them, but they'd be happy to let us buy them separately. This makes zero sense! The menu should say choose 2: bowl of soup, half salad, half sandwich with mariquitas. See the misleading photo of the menu. The food itself was fine (not great) but this misunderstanding ruined the meal for me. I was not impressed with the customer service when I brought it up; they basically told us we were wrong. They said our only option was to contact the owner or manager if we weren't happy.

For the past 2 weeks I've been coming here every morning because I myself am a manager at restaurant near,the customer service was fine and I had no issues but today I got the worst experience from this place, I ordered a cold sandwich and I usually get them warmed up,the lady usually ask me if I want it warmed but this time they didn't, I asked kindly if I could get it warmed up she said the oven is not working. I had no issues then asked if I could cancel the order and get a refund ,she proceeded to roll her eyes and tell me I couldn't get a refund, l demanded a refund because I didn't want a cold sandwich, then she walked toward her coworker but made it noticeable she didn't wanna give me a refund for some reason ,as the other worker was giving me the refund the worker that rolled her eyes at me was giving a lady her order and the lady asked her nicely which was the different drink because she ordered 3 ,2 were the same and 1 was different, the worker once again roll her eyes at the lady and completely ignored her and started talking and gossiping with the girl refunding my order after a minute she went back to the lady and she told her rudely said the one on the right was different. This was the most unprofessional and most rude costumer service experience,rolling eyes should never be done as a manager this shouldn't be tolerated.Definitely not coming back. I have heard other complaints,but I would talk great about this place until today. It seems like other costumer's are right. I will be returning back to cafe de olla they for sure don't disappoint!

Happened by this spot as we were leaving the area. We will definitely be back! Friendly service and plenty of great little treats! This review is only for the bakery goods. We did not have time to sample any of the sandwiches or entree items but we went to come back to try them! We got mini smores, mini fruit tart, mini salted caramel, cookies, and a lemon tart! All the items were delicious!

Hi, My family member came in earlier today and your staff member Lorraine was rude to her when she asked for a bag to carry her things down the street where she parked. Your fruit tart also has no custard in it. It was whipped cream over a 1.5 inch cookie crust.

I specified wanting vegan and that I needed a nondairy option and paid extra for the oat milk option and turns out they add milk powder to a lot of their drinks. I immediately started to feel a stomachache and asked for a refund and they made me wait for 20 minutes only to say that since I started drinking it already that they will not do issue a refund. But I only found out it had dairy because I started to drink it and got a stomachache. They weren’t at all compassionate that this had happened. Horrid customer service. And the matcha latte was disgusting and tasted like artificial matcha flavored candy. Save yourself a nice day and go to Grey and Cash instead which is down the street. They are much more vegan friendly, have great knowledgeable staff who take allergies and dietary preferences more seriously, and their sandwiches, coffee, and tea are all tastier. We only came here because Grey and Cash was closed for the day. Never coming back!
