This WAS my new favorite spot. I came last week and didn’t receive my coffee after waiting an hour long. The extremely kind manager refunded me and even gave me a gift card for the inconvenience. I was so impressed by how the situation was handled that I decided to not only come back but to bring my whole family in today. Unfortunately that kind manager was not here today but his very rude employee with a sarcastic attitude was. I simply made a request if she could make our iced lattes a little more on the coffee side than the milky side and she sarcastically responded with “okay would you like me to use water?” And I responded with “excuse me?” She replied “well that’s all I could replace the extra milk with.” It was just so unnecessary, I didn’t deserve such an attitude for making a simple request on my order. I’m so bummed because I really did like this place and I was recommending it to everyone I know, now I’ll be sure to tell them all to avoid this place unless they want to be served attitude with their food.

Solid Cuban treats - I particularly like the savory goods like the beef papa rellena and chicken empanada. Quick and friendly service as well!

This place is so cute. The pastries and cakes look beautiful in the cases and taste amazing. I had a mocha latte that was slightly lacking in sweetness but that's just my taste. Highly recommend.

I had the Cuban sandwich with plantains which was delicious! The sandwich was warm oozing with cheese and the plantains was thick and crispy. Could only eat 1/2 the sandwich since it was so filling. Be sure to leave room for desserts to try some of their pastries.

Great selection of bakery items. We tried several items, and everything was delicious. The lemon tart was especially good. Friendly staff and good service

I've been here several times, always order the Cuban sandwich, sometimes with pastry, sometimes not. Tonight I decided to be different. I ordered the ropa vieja, described as "Tender shredded steak with onions and bell peppers in a tomato based sauce served on freshly baked Cuban bread." I thought, well, that sounds good, I'll have that. IT WAS MANWICH. Manwich with carne asada, but it was FREAKIN MANWICH. I paid $15 for MANWICH. I looked up ropa vieja on the interet when I got home, oh yeah, looks good, and what I saw on the internet certainly didn't come out of a can. Order the Cuban Sandwich, you'll be happy, not the ropa vieja. I'll rate the place based on all my experiences, and not just this one. Today was definitely zero stars, but otherwise it's been good.

We visited by mere accident, actually headed just down the street to check out another restaurant but there was a long wait there, we are very happy we ended up coming in here, the food was delicious, the coffee is really good as well, we really enjoyed our visit, almost gave them five stars, but there was just one thing we didn't like, the fans in the dining area were going full blast and it made it way too cold to be able to seat there, we asked if that could be turned down and they said yes, than other people had already mentioned the same thing, but nothing was done, even at the end of our meal, it was all the same. Our table outside wasn't even level, the front area is slanted but we had to eat there instead of freezing. We will come back to try their pastries and cakes, they look amazing.

Great cakes, food, and super friendly service. The atmosphere is great for a casual lunch with friends or a quick espresso before a movie.

This is my go-to for my caramel macchiatto after work or for pastries when snacks at home are not enough for my cravings. My husband loves the Beef Papas from here. Staff is always friendly and the bathrooms are always clean.

This bakery is cute and the display of sweet treats is gorgeous (though not as tasty as they look in my opinion :/). However, I've, unfortunately, had a few disappointing experiences here. :/ For one, I ordered the oatmeal and it came in a cardboard tupperware... as just dry oats today... I had to remind/request to have it cooked/have hot water or a steamed milk of sorts poured over it. Not only was I disappointed that it was handed to me not prepared, I'm also disappointed that such a good bakery/cafe uses instant oatmeal rather than making their own and making it their own. Additionally, while my friend and I were dining here (no where near closing), employees started sweeping around us and over us. ?

So apparently the owner of this bakery is related to the Portos restaurant family and is the original creator of a lot of the food that Portos has. You'll find they have all the staples of Portos but is fresher. It's definitely delicious!
