HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT MIMI'S IN ARCADIA ON THANKSGIVING. IT TOOK OVER 30 MINUTES JUST TO GET CALLED WITH A RESERVATION. STAFF WAS VERY UNORGANIZED! I GOT A SEAT AT THE COUNTER, THAT WAS DIRTY AND 1/2 OF SEATS WERE EMPTY, WHAT TOOK SO LONG TO GET A SPOT? IT TOOK ANOTHER 30 MINUTES FOR SOMEONE TO FEEL SORRY FOR ME, WHEN I WAS WAVING THE MENU AT EVERY EMPLOYEE THAT JUST IGNORED ME. I RECEIVED MY SOUP IN A PAPER CUP, NO LESS. FOR AN EXPENSIVE, SPECIAL MEAL, TACKY. NO METAL UTENSILS, INSTEAD I GOT CHEAP TO-GO STYLE PLASTIC UTENSILS, SO TACKY!!! MY DINNER TOOK FOREVER TO ARRIVE, OTHERS THAT ORDERED AFTER ME, GOT THEIR MEAL FIRST. MY TURKEY WAS 1/2 WRONG, I ORDERED ALL DARK MEAT. THE PUMPKIN PIRE TASTED OLD, THEY SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN COSTCO PIES. I WON'T GO TO MIMI'S NEXT YEAR FOR THANKSGIVING!!! INSTEAD: NORM'S, FRIENDLIER SERVICE, ABOUT $13 CHEAPER, WITH MORE FOOD. NORM'S HAS MUCH BETTER PIES TOO. MIMI'S: GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!

Given that it was Thanksgiving, the noise level was much higher than usual. But we were seated at our EXACT reservation time, our FAVORITE server attended to us, & the meal was excellent. Portions were generous & I even took home leftover turkey & my large piece of pecan pie for dessert later at home. It AMAZED me that people showed up WITHOUT reservations, & when told it would be a 2-3 hr. wait were rude to the host & expected to be seated ahead of those of us who had reservations.

Not a great experience. We actually traveled 30+ miles to get here for lunch. Service was fine and it’s a cute little place to eat but the food arrived cold on both plates. One plate got taken back and was flash heated - the turkey - when it came back out it was okay, but certainly nothing special. The second plate got taken back and remade - a burger. But unfortunately, by the time all of this happened, we were out of time and had to leave. In fairness, the waitress did take the burger off the check and we took it to go, but of course, the whole experience wasn’t exactly what we’d hoped for. The food was obviously cooked properly, it was just somehow forgotten about and by the time we got it, it was cold. It happens, but let’s be honest you go there for one thing, good food that is served in a relatively quick timeframe, and it should obviously be hot. In that respect they didn’t meet expectations today.

Beautiful atmosphere, the food came very quickly and it was delicious.
Disappointing, to say the least. Saturday night @ 7pm and place was empty. Should have been our first clue! Despite being empty, service was slow. My wife ordered "Chardonay"...they were out. Not a particular Chardonay, but ANY Chardonay! Went to order dinner and they were out of chicken pot pie. Proceeded to tell us they were out of that, 2 other entrees, and baked potatoes! How are you out of potatoes?!? Ordered pot roast which was mediocre (once it finally arrived). Overall a very disappointing experience and won't be returning anytime soon. Mimi's used to be in our regular rotation but has gone downhill over the years. RIP Mimi's.

I had the chicken parm with pasta. The chicken parmasian was fair. The pasta was tasteless. The lava cake is too sweet. The price is crazy high.

The food was delicious the only issue I have perhaps I can be wrong but our server took a very long time to fill up our coffee and water. She never came for our bill we gave to another person. Over all Mimis Cafe the food was delicious. The server's need to more attendant to their customers. (Luz)

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Zaida at Mimi’s Café, and she made our visit outstanding! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us warmly with a big smile and made us feel right at home. Her attentiveness was spot on—always checking in at the right times without ever hovering.
