Portions are well sized, price is cheap, and workers are extremely welcoming! The workers guided me through everything and made me feel so comfortable. Definitely the best poke spot in town. The vibes are great, and so is the food!
Not sure why 3 younger girls in the front couldn't stop "scooping" or stop what they were doing in the moment to help take my order, yesterday lunch time around 2pm, knowing I was the only one standing in line at the time there. I had to ask nicely TWICE to be helped and 2 different girls told me to wait while they were finished, nobody wanted to help me right away. I even said I had somewhere to be and they didnt care at all! I was shocked by that actually. Never in my 29 almost 30 years have I experienced that kind of service. Thank you to the boys working there that were kind to me the last times I went. I don't feel comfortable around the girls there, they were mean to me and I had to walk out to save my own embarrassment/humiliation.
To the girls, take it from someone a little older than you, drop the nasty attitude please before you learn it the harder way. It's not cute and it's very unprofessional. Not fair to the owner either your unprofessional conduct.

Best poke in the area! The bowls are fresh and reasonably priced. Tons of protein, topping, and sauce options. Having lived in Hawaii previously it’s also super cool to see our favorite drinks and snacks from the islands. Staff and owner are extremely kind too which is always an added bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Awesome prices! They do the first scoop of avocado and imitation crab free and only charge after that. The owner is super friendly and this is just an awesome small business. Not to mention the taste is incredible!

I've been coming here for sometime, finally found the poke spot I call home; they seek to provide Hawaiian flavors and preparations, but keep it California with customizations to fit their customers' needs. The owner makes sure that not only the fish is quality, but also all the toppings that make their bowls. The sauces, especially are a passion project where the chef gets a chance to explore different flavor combinations and profiles to keep me coming back for more. And I will!Ignore my cruddy photo, too excited to eat to stage a nice shot!

Delicious poke, and great service! The portions are also perfect, these were the small size bowls. Love that you can customize it just how you want! My mom even made hers more “Mexican style” with spicy crab and tortilla chips!

Been coming to Grindz since before the rebranding. Glad to see that nothing changes but the name. Consistent proper portions, reasonable prices, great tasting food and above all great service. Will continue coming back.

Hit or miss
I think this is the best poke in the neighborhood. everyone has fresh fish, but the sauces here are on point and hit good. I love the kimchi sauce with the oke house sauce. they even have dole whip at a decent price. now I've been coming here for years, and the price has gone up and it seems they have done away with some items like masago.. but it's still my go to for poke.p.s. I went to another poke location close by to try it out and their sauces weren't even close in comparison.
