Top notch Japanese place. Great Japan beer selection. Happy hour includes chicken wings. Best service ever. Located in Monrovia accross Huntington from the Hilton doubletree.

One of my favorite sushi spots! They serve the best sushi, love the ambiance and the service is great!

So good. Great menu, great staff. Good bar selection. Feels like I need a hi-ball when I come here. Good pacing on food and staff is attentive.

The food is very good and taste authentic (I’m from Tokyo), the prices are very reasonable, and the seating is very comfortable. The pictures is yakitori bowl and yakisoba. Very tasty… 🤤

This is my third attempt to eat at this restaurant. The first two time both failed due to too busy and closed/rest day. I was very glad that my friends and I got seating right away.
We tried their yakitori and sushi. The grilled mushroom and miso salmon were very good.
We ate during lunch and the store faces south, which gets a strong blast of sun. However the restaurant is very dimly lit, which makes a very sharp contrast. Every time someone enters or leaves you get an assault from the blaring sun.
I would recommend the owner to turn on more lighting during the day.

Black Cod cooked fish dish was great!

Currently the best yakitori i ever tasted. Try the wagyu, tongue and liver yakitori. They are both good with salt and sauce.

Portions:  Small compared to others. The rolls are skinny.

Price: Price are on the high side, especially the sashimi.

Honestly I'm not a fan. We only can't here because we had a gift card. Lol the foods are not good by any means. Not because they are not fresh, but rather, low grade fish, potions are small compared to others. The rolls are skinny, so not much to eat But they do have a full bar though.

Pretty good food. The lunch was a good deal. I had the Tonkatsu it wasn't dry but they over fried it a bit so the batter was a bit hard. Overall a good place for lunch.
