Last week when I was working in Pasadena, it was nearly lunch time and as I usually check Google maps for places i did it, then spoted this place, and I was checking the menu , then decided to try. Once got there the place is very cool, clean and looks very romantic, with few tables to enjoy any meal of the day either alone, with family friends or even a date. The guys are very welcoming and friendly. After checking the menu for a few minutes I decided to get a banh mi, ( sandwich). While waiting for my food Hien, the guy who took care of me offered me some water, and I have noticed that not all the places offer water while waiting the orders to go. Once I finished my cup with water Mr Chung came to me and offered me some more water, and of course I couldn't denied his friendly offer. Very gentle guys. By the way I had a chicken, pork and beef sandwich. Mine was very delicious. Personally I loved the flavor and very affordable price ,I'm looking forward to try the Pho if I'm nearby some time. Highly recommend this place is totally worth it

Delicious! The filet mignon is tender and juicy. The food is fresh. The owners are very nice and friendly. The restaurant setting is very comfortable. I eat there constantly. I couldn't believe that Monrovia would have such delicious vietnamese food

Authentic banh mi. The bread was spectacular with a light grilling. The pork was full of umami and a slight crispy edge,almost bacon like. Down in Duarte came over to Saigon Ave based on other great reviews. Next time I'm coming for the pho.

We loved this quaint and very aesthetic Vietnamese restaurant. The service was beautiful; we were treated like family. The food was wonderful; it definitely hit the spot and made my daughter’s requests for her 12 th birthday very special. And after dinner the downtown Monrovia lights and shops were just a beautiful way to end the evening!

A highlight of Old Town Monrovia, I found this great little restaurant while visiting old movie filming spots. The owner is super nice and he and his staff serve up excellent dishes in an intimate location. You can also order takeout and to-go through most delivery apps. Can't recommend Saigon Avenue enough.

Their pho was pretty good, but their crispy egg rolls were not. Workers seemed nice, but they weren’t very attentive. And, the restaurant did not seem clean—the table was sticky, sauce bottles were dirty, and flies were a nuisance.
