They hold adults classes too! Chef Alex was a great instructor for our tapas night. The format is great too: couples make different dishes and contribute to a huge spread to share buffet style.
Considering the great instruction, good food, and boxes of leftovers, the cost of the class is actually quite reasonable.
Thank you, Chef Alex, Helen and I will be back soon!
We did the Spanish tapas cooking class with chef Alex last night and we had the best time! Each couple was responsible for making a different dish. At the end, we each presented our dish and had a feast. Chef Alex makes the experience fun and non-intimidating. He teaches you various skills required to get you through your dish prep. Great for all skill levels and a really great date night idea. Most people brought wine to accompany the food and experience. We will definitely be back!
I recommend this to anyone who loves to cook or not. The experience alone is what made it worth it. Thank you, Salute Culinary Academy.
The class is incredibly empowering. All the girls gained valuable insights from cutting veggies to crafting sushi rolls. Chef/coach is remarkably patient and knowledgeable. Worth every penny.
We have attended parties here many times. Just had a kids birthday party of our own. So much fun for the kids and adults alike. We got to make meat balls, pasta, and desserts! The management(the two brothers) were very attentive every step of the way. Thank you! Highly recommend it to school parents.
We chose a cooking class as a work team building activity for 40 people. Lindsey was amazing and patient helping us schedule and answering our questions. Chef Alex was also so helpful and knowledgeable, and made it a fun and easy event. We chose the Mediterranean option which was delicious. The feedback from the team was this was the best team building they've ever participated in. Thank you for the great experience.
We came in with zero expectations and left with an amazing experience. Our chef wasted no time in introducing the menu and off we went. There was zero hand-holding and every team worked their butts off to deliver the menu. If you needed help, Chef was happy to assist, but the pressure to perform was on. It almost felt like a true commercial kitchen. In the end 7 couples rallied to deliver an excellent meal. It was hard work, but also fun and rewarding. And the food was so amazing! Highly recommended. Jakub & Tammy
booked the pasta class for my husband's birthday, and we had a fantastic time! the chef was really warm and was great about getting on the individual's level. it went so well we bought our own supplies to make more at home! Definitely recommend for a date night or to get the kids out of the house!

Please keep me updated on future sour dough bread baking classes
My husband and I have participated in several group cooking classes, enjoyed cooking with others and learned techniques. It was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. I encourage everyone to give it a try.
This culinary school is so great for kids to enjoy cooking. My son is 6 years old and we attend two weekend classes, one making pizza and the other one making empanada. My son really enjoyed both classes. The chef and sous-chef are very friendly and explain everything in a way that all kids could understand. When we go home, my son enjoys the food he made. Highly recommend. Would definitely book again for their summer camp and weekend cooking/baking party.
My girls enjoyed the cooking classes with a different theme each day. Also, they were proud to bring home samples of what they made to show me, empanadas, sushi, crepes and more. I'm very satisfied and was glad I enrolled them in class. (Now I want to go!)
These guys are wonderful. My 3 kids (ages 10, 10, 13) have attended Saute Academy Summer Camp for 3 summers and come home so happy and full :). They have a really fun experience, are well cared for, and learn a lot. It's a place where everyone is attended to - there's a strong sense of community and a warm welcome when you walk in the door, whether you're new there or not. And oh my god, the food the kids make and bring home is SO good! You'll never look at noodles the same way again.
PS last summer we tried a different cooking camp because I was too late to get them a spot at Saute's camp, and it was good, but just didn't compare.
