Our team had a wonderful time cooking together. Chef Alex is knowledgeable, funny, and a great instructor for all experience levels. The entire process was enjoyable, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend it for groups that want to have a memorable experience together beyond the traditional team-building event!

Had a great time today cooking a Mediterranean menu with Chef Alex. There were 16 of us there as a holiday get-together/team building event. Lots of fun, food, learning, and good music to cook by. Chef Alex is a bundle of energy, swooping in, teaching you how to do something, then off to the next lost soul to rescue/teach them as well. Highly recommend!

Back again and kicking off the Christmas holiday, Chef Alex offered a tamale making class so I immediately signed up. Good thing I did because not only did the class sell out in two hours, but it was such an amazing class to take. There are different stations set up and everyone picks what they want to work on. I picked the masa making station because I always wanted to make tamale masa from scratch and wanted to see how it was done. Using simple ingredients and a stand mixer, we were able to create masa magic. It was great being able to get feedback on the masa consistency and how to adjust if needed. After whipping out 9 batches of masa, I now have a great foundation for how to make masa and will take the next tamale class to learn how to make the tamale red filling. Once everyone is done with their station, we begin an assembly line where Chef Alex explains different techniques on how to assemble the tamales. A lot of people get frustrated with the assembly part because it's trial and error to get the right ratio for masa to filling. It's taken me years to find what works for me. I chose to work on the green chili and cheese tamales because I found it challenging to work with salsa. I was careful in making sure not to create too much liquid, but also making sure there was enough cheese and green chilies to ensure great flavor. The best part is that you get to take roughly 15-18 uncooked tamales home. I put mine in the fridge overnight and steamed them on high for an hour the following day. They were ready to eat and tasted great. Overall, I highly recommend taking this tamale making class whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or expert tamale maker. Chef Alex sends you the recipes after class so that you can continue to make these recipes at home. I personally had a great time learning new tamale making techniques and meeting new people. Also, you never know who might show up for a class. Make sure you check the website for upcoming classes so that you don't miss out as they do book quickly. Thank you again Chef Alex, can't wait for the next one!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Sourdough class on a Monday evening with Chef Todd. Like many, I took up sourdough during the pandemic and didn't have much success. I learned a lot about this process and recommend their class :)

We went for the Cuban cooking night and it was amazing. Chef Alex is amazing. His knowledge, skills, and ability to teach and explain things made this a very unique experience. It's fun light hearted and super informative. Now I know how to properly dice an onion. (Thank you Alex). The food ingredients and quality were excellent and everything came out great. I definitely recommend this as a date night, family night, or biz team building event. Food is the cornerstone of society, so knowing how to prepare it and host others is something we should all strive to do better. Learn from the best. Chef Alex will teach you how to master your kitchen.

We had the most amazing time with Chef Alex at the Sauté Culinary Academy. I am still in awe of the quality and quantity of the meal that we prepared on our own. The playlist set the perfect mood for our team of 16 to pretend we were culinary masters. I cannot wait to do this again! It was an amazing bonding experience. THANK YOU!

Celebrated my daughter's 9th Birthday at Sauté and it was a hit! The kids absolutely loved it, and so did the parents. Chef Alex was amazing with the kids! So patient and hands on! They made an Italian feast that consisted of homemade pasta and gnocchi just to name a few. For dessert, they made cupcakes and decorated them so there was no need to bring a cake! The party was a breeze and so organized. It was definitely my first stress free birthday party.

Took the Pasta Making 101 class which was so fun! You learn how to make pasta dough, different pasta shapes and then cook + eat what you make (the best part)!Fun environment and not intimidating; even if you are a beginner in the kitchen. Our instructor was Chef Alex who was great. Would highly recommend for a date night or to do with a group. Will be back for more classes!

My work group came here for a team building exercise. It was a great deal of fun. We cooked and ate a tasty meal. The recipes were clear and achievable in the allotted time. Chef Alex was well organized. The kitchen was clean. The ingredients were fresh and good quality. I would recommend this activity for groups of friends, relatives, and anyone else looking for a lightly structured group activity.

Excellent! Chef Alex is a cool dude, just the perfect amount of instruction. I learned how to dice an onion, tomato and garlic properly. The recipes rendered such delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Oh my goodness! Our group of 14 was split into pairs. We followed recipes while Chef Alex cruised around to help with anything. After we all finished our assigned dishes, we gathered together to eat. Our family loves to cook. We came together where today to celebrate a very special birthday!Fun fun fun!!!
