Great service, very welcoming. Such a large assortment of candy, and the overall store ambiance has a very nostalgic feel. A classic gem.

Good candy stores with wide variety of classical candy, taffy, sours, chocolates, gum and Jelly beans. The price per lb is $15.00 as of Jan 2024.

Service was great. Bought some margharita jelly beans and they were stale. I got a refund for them very easily. Really overpriced, for what it is.

I've been here more than 6 times, always going for the bulk candy (purchased by weight). And every time I've come the candy is STALE. Don't bother coming..... It's rock hard stale candy. It's fun to be able to pick only your favorite flavors, but my goodness it's always stale and insanely overpriced.

If you like Hawaiian ice this is your place. Also they have the best selection of bottled soda including my favorite hard to find ginger beer.

A great store, located right next to TPumps! Love the location. Come here frequently to get my fix for me and my kids. Chrystal is such a great help, got me to get all the best candies to get my kids overloaded on candy before I sent them back to their mom.Highly recommend! Thank you Chrystal!!!

My teeth were hurting but in a good way. An amazing array of candies here. I highly recommend this place. They have some true classics here that I won't get into because if you know you know and you'll know once you are foot here. Location is in uptown Monrovia just north of 210. You can also take the Gold Line here. If you're ever in the mood for some candy and you're nearby than this is your place. #sweettooth

Cute candy shop with new candy, rare ones, OG ones, and a decent selection of Mexican goodies too. They have other offerings like shaved ice, but the candy is what everyone is after. I particularly enjoyed the sour patch selection and classic warheads. We had a great time here!

Not, not recommended. Went there a couple weeks ago, bought about $20 worth of a variety of candy. We found that not all of the candy was 'fresh.' The root beer barrels were okay, the tiny [overpriced] packages of Smarties and M&M's were okay. Don't expect chocolates here like a traditional candy store. The Cup of Gold was awful; the inner brown paper cup was stuck to the chocolate, only to shred off in pieces and the candy was old, and caused the person consuming it to get an upset stomach after 1 bite (we threw it away). You have one job, people. How hard is it to get it right? It's too bad you can't. We won't be back. We miss the old Candy Connection candy store across the street; they were good, and cared about the quality of the candy they were selling.

I am a girl of a particular age. I remember penny candy, candy cigarettes and cinnamon toothpicks (which I loved). Well, my sis and I stumbled upon this place while awaiting to be texted about our table at the Peach Cafe (see my review). We walked in and could have easily spent an hour just browsing all the nostalgic candies, the Pez holders, Jelly Bellies and Jelly Bellies dispensers. They also had M&M's and dispensers for them as well. There were bins and bins of gummies, chocolates, chocolate raisins, chocolate nuts - and the list goes on. What we LOVED about the bins was that the candies in the bins are cello-wrapped. So, no bugger hands can actually touch your candy. Of course, as most of these places are, the candy in the bins ain't cheap. I was quoted $14 per pound. I got small cellos of gummies, chocolate raisins and chocolate almonds. I mean SMALL. My total was $4 and some change. The candy was fresh, DEELISH and the customer service was good. I forgot to add that they serve shaved ice here as well. Man, I love it here!! Oh, wait, we're getting texted! Our table is ready! Time to grub. ‍‍‍. I will see ya soon, Sugarland!!

It's a small candy store and on the pricey side. It's a good place for small sweet craving.

We love this store! Perfect place to get shaved ice on a hot summer day! They have a lot of nostalgia inducing treats, as well as modern candy. I love coming in here for personalized root beer floats, you can chose any flavor of soda for your float. They are always so patient with me when I take forever picking out different flavors for shaved ice. My bf and I brought our niece here, and she thought it was a unicorn rainbow wonderland! They were very accommodating and so kind to us. We can't wait to come back!

Wow wow wow!!! The cutest candy shop...they have things from your childhood...all the people dispensers you can think of..sour candy galore, Mexican candy, and even shave ice...it's not Hawaii BUT it's GOOD!! They even have a size for toddlers you just need to ask! You cannot miss going into this candy land heaven when you're in Monrovia!!! It's so so fun!!

This place I consider dangerous because it is so close to me and I love just about everything they have there. The prices for an entire bag of candy by the pound are so much more affordable and reasonable compared to some the big name candy shops. They literally have the best variety of candies and even my grandfather found some candies that took him back to his childhood. The gentleman who works there (I believe he is the owner) is a very sweet man. There were two other women working the front as well who were also very friendly and made my experience perfect. Thank you guys!
