I really wanted to give Tacos Ensenada a five-star review, but the experience just didn’t deliver all the way. First off, the wait time was ridiculous—over 25 minutes for my food, and I watched multiple people who ordered after me get their orders first. That part really threw me off.
I ordered the shrimp taco, which I’ll give credit for—it was very flavorful and definitely a highlight. But then I made the mistake of trying the sushi... and honestly, it was nasty as hell. This place has no business serving sushi—it tasted off, borderline spoiled. They should just stick to what they’re good at: the seafood tacos.
The cashier had decent customer service, but there was a slight attitude that came off unwelcoming. The place does get busy, so I recommend double-checking your order and maybe even calling ahead if possible.
Overall, decent food if you know what to avoid, but not worth the hype this time around.

I ordered a plate with chicken, rice, beans, and salad at Tacos Ensenada in Monrovia, California, and it was absolutely delicious. There are places with good food — and then there are places like this, where the food is truly flavorful, hearty, and feels healthy. I really enjoyed it and left fully satisfied. The atmosphere is cozy and feels like home — everything is clean and well maintained. There’s convenient parking too. Honestly, this is one of the best spots I’ve found for tasty and fulfilling fast food. Highly recommended! Good price

March 10, 2025 2:30 pm. First time I am complaining about my food. Prices went up and I got at least 1/3 less of shrimp in my cocktail. I couldn’t believe it. A lot less shrimp for $12.00 was very disappointing. I guess I will never order here again:(

I see a lot of these locations and decide to give them a try I go inside everybody's talking in the back I had to whistle for somebody to come to the cash register I ordered a carne asada burrito the rice is overcooked the meat was overcooked hate to give you a bad review but when you have good food people know and you can also taste it but this food was not good at all I threw the burrito in the parking lot so you can pick it up cuz it was trash
Go often especially for the sale tacos , but today there was a long black hair completely wrapped in with my carnitas .. so disgusting 🤢never again

I usually have a good experience when I eat here, but I came in on Sunday and ordered the shrimp ceviche tostada and it was beyond salty! I let the cashier know and was told to wait but was never helped. I got tired of waiting and left. Not going back.
