Went there at 1:15AM thinking we were going to a Coffee Shop and is actually a Mexican bar with food. The chicken cooked fresh for our tacos and were delicious! We weren’t aware is cash only and owner said was okay that we didn’t have enough cash.. we went back the next day and paid him.
From the outside it looks closed & not open for business. Open the door & step back to the 1950’s. It is midcentury rustic. A jukebox, poor lighting and a cash register that was built when FDR was president. They serve Mexican food! The chili verde burrito was spicy hot & great. It is definitely a unique place.
Tiny little hole-in-the-wall place, more like a bar than a cafe. Neighborhood hang out for drinking group. Fairly good Mexican food. Moderate prices. Restroom s too small for a walker to fit through the door. Noisy even with only a half dozen people. Staff nice enough and polite but mostly ignore you. Not very clean and only about 4 or5 parking spots total. Rating: 2.5 stars from us. If you like noisy bars with food you may like this place.
