Thai Thyme is cozy Thai restaurant that specialize in authentic Thailand cuisine. It’s located in Monrovia. They have vast selection of food and drinks at a reasonable price. Interior looks charming with high ceiling and exposed brick. Atmosphere was relaxing.

We have walked passed by Thai Thyme for years but never hand a chance to check-in until tonight. Because it tends to be packed due to its popularity. Anyway, after we perused their menu; I ordered a Chicken Pad Won Sen, Spring Rolls, iced tea and water. The noodle was tasty, moist and flavorful albeit a bit salty. Similarly, spring rolls were delightful. Drinks were good.

Staff were very attentive, engaging and respectful. Prices were fair and competitive. Atmosphere was relaxing and has a good vibe. Overall, it’s a nice Thai spot in my favorite town of Monrovia. I recommend you visit.

Delicious food, enjoyed the moo ping! Also I messed up an Uber eats order and they helped me resolve that with amazing customer service.

Nice place. Pretty good atmosphere and space. Owner and staff made efforts to be attentive. I thought the noodles were good but chicken was a little dry and not flavorful enough.

Ordered take out from Thai Thyme for the first time. Had the Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, and Green Curry. This has been, by far, the best tasting Thai noodle dishes I have had! The texture, flavor, and quantity are all so perfectly balanced. Everything tastes wonderful. I would prefer less coconut milk in the Green Curry and more green chilies as I like it spicy but I can forgot to specify. When i went to pick up my order the waitress was so sweet to ask me about my day. Will come back to try their other dishes soon !

The ambiance is great! Easy to walk in on a Friday night to get a table for four. Food that is labeled spicy can be very spicy. Chicken satay, Pad see ew and red curry are great dishes!

ok I eat a lot of Thai food all over the place (Philly, DC, VA) but this was seriously the best I’ve ever had. Pad see ew, chicken pad Thai, Tom kha with tofu, all the literal best I’ve had. Go here!!!

Have had better, authentic thai food elsewhere. Pad see ew was not it. Noodles were super oily and soggy and overly salty. Spring rolls were also not good at all, again, pretty soggy for something that's deep fried. Service is amazing though!

I wasn't expecting to find the best Thai food I've ever eaten to be in Monrovia, but here we are. The owner took time to chat with us about what we might like to order, and all of his recommendations were fantastic. We'll happily be returning soon and with friends in tow!

Stopped by for some comfort Thai food on a cold winter night and this place really hit the spot. The atmosphere was warm and cozy with beautiful decorations. We ordered a plate of pad see ew and yellow curry with Jasmine rice. Both were amazing, but the yellow curry really stood out as the winner. It wasn’t too salty or sweet but just the right amount of creaminess. The staff were so welcoming and attentive the whole time. We loved it and can’t wait to come back again!

The tastiest Thai food in LA! We know because we have tried soooo many Thai cuisines! This one gets their ingredients hand picked weekly from the owner himself. A very exquisite and delightful man. He makes us feel like friends whenever we walk in for a bite to eat. My favorite dish is the Massaman curry and my favorite desert is the mango pudding. Their eggplant is cooked to perfection in their traditional eggplant dish and I love that they let you choose the level of heat in all their dishes. I usually choose zero and request the tray of spices to add in as I eat. My husband on the other hand lives choosing level 2 or sometimes 3 🌶️!! Talk about spicy Thai! Its all here. Please come in for a sophisticated and comfortable dining experience with the best service in all of Downtown Monrovia .

Parking: Its only busy around the usual dinner hours & weekends.Lots of bars and other restaurants around. You may have to drive up and down to find parking but we always do and its free.

Really liked the back patio on a lovely Sunday afternoon, just perfect for a leisurely lunch! Food was quite good, my Pad Thai was one of the better ones I’ve had in awhile and the papaya salad was solid if not spectacular but our waiter treated us with some coconut pudding at the end and it was really refreshing and just a perfect ending for a great meal.

Parking: Just pull in to the back parking lot and you’ll be fine next to the brew pub.

Ate here on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024 for my very first time with family. Absolutely delicious and the food was spot on. Sat outside on the back patio and it was quiet. I just wish it weren't so far from my home, but now have a restaurant to look forward to visiting this winter real soon. I highly recommend!
