****Beware with Delivery Being local, I always dine in and tge experience is always wonderful. Tonight though, since im sick and wanted some comfort food, I ordered delivery. And while the food was delicious as always, ve aware, they will short you on portions. The Thai Jerky is not an inexpensive appetizer, and tonight I opened my meal (untampered by the delivery guy) and it was literally 7 small pieces of Jerry. Not even a quarter of the portion I would get in person at the restaurant. Still delicious, but I wont ve ordering delivery again from this place.

Friday night dinner with friends. The place was busy but we only waited about 15 minutes for a table for 5. Service was fast and food came out right away. The papaya salad was fresh and just the right spice level. We also had basil fried rice and a curry dish. Amazing food, we ordered the Pad See Ew, Thai fried rice and Yellow curry (level 1 spice). For drinks I had the the Thai Iced tea, and it was delicious. Such a good feed and quick service as well, massive portions so you can take away and eat it all again the next day! The owner was so lovely, thanked everyone for coming in to his restaurant it was so cute. Anyway, we’ve travelled from Australia and wish I could say that we will come back, but regardless it was a great eating experience for a foodie like me!

Thai Thyme is a quaint little place in downtown Monrovia, California. One of the things I like about them is their dog friendly attitude. They have a nice comfortable patio outside. Inside the atmosphere is comfortable and warm. Service there has always been pleasurable. Thai food is one of my favorites, and this restaurant is consistently good. We usually order chicken Pad Thai, and the other dishes we’ve tried have always been pretty good. There’s parking in the rear, but you have to take a few side streets to get there. The only downside is the online ordering system. It either doesn’t load or takes too long to load. Overall, it’s a great place to eat if you’re in the area. You can’t go wrong with Thai Time. Just a small note: when I rate a restaurant, I consider three main factors: food, service, and price. Depending on the situation, the atmosphere or ambiance is also taken into account. Ultimately, it’s about the overall value and the quality of the product offered for that value, as well as the service and the overall attitude presented.

We came to Thai Thyme to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and everything about the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Our table was ready when we arrived, complete with a personalized sign—such a thoughtful touch!
The owner greeted us warmly and was incredibly passionate about the food. He took the time to explain the recommended dishes and even offered to take our group photo while the lighting was still perfect before sunset. That level of care really stood out.
We ordered:
Grilled Eggplant Salad – The dressing was bright and appetizing, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour. Massaman Curry with Tofu – Rich, thick, and hearty. Absolutely delicious! Vegan Chicken Pad Thai – The owner explained how the vegan chicken was made, and it did not disappoint. Great texture and flavor. Jasmine Rice on the side – fluffy and fragrant. Coconut Cake – A divine way to end the meal. Made with all-natural, healthy ingredients, it was light yet indulgent. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. We left with happy tummies and even happier hearts, grateful for good food and great company.

Thai Thyme is cozy Thai restaurant that specialize in authentic Thailand cuisine. It’s located in Monrovia. They have vast selection of food and drinks at a reasonable price. Interior looks charming with high ceiling and exposed brick. Atmosphere was relaxing.
We have walked passed by Thai Thyme for years but never hand a chance to check-in until tonight. Because it tends to be packed due to its popularity. Anyway, after we perused their menu; I ordered a Chicken Pad Won Sen, Spring Rolls, iced tea and water. The noodle was tasty, moist and flavorful albeit a bit salty. Similarly, spring rolls were delightful. Drinks were good.
Staff were very attentive, engaging and respectful. Prices were fair and competitive. Atmosphere was relaxing and has a good vibe. Overall, it’s a nice Thai spot in my favorite town of Monrovia. I recommend you visit.
