A friend recommended The Diplomat. The drinks and food were delicious and service top notch. This is a nice hidden gem in Monrovia. I highly recommend. We had the hummus and steak salad. The portions we're bigger than expected.

Best Mediterranean place around.. This is my new favorite spot!! The manhattan was perfect, hummus with filet was amazing and the Greek salad topped it off. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing experience at The Diplomat in Monrovia for my husband’s birthday! The New Zealand lamb chops were perfectly marinated and cooked, and the complimentary baklava was absolutely delicious. Authentic Mediterranean food with top-notch hospitality—staff made us feel so welcome. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!

Best Mediterranean Restaurant in the area. The food is clean and full of flavor. Best lamb chops I've had at a restaurant. The seasoning is on point. Highly recommend the Beef skewer. The hummus is my new standard for hummus. Service is good and it has a nice relaxing vibe. It is also a whiskey bar. The fact is if you were thinking about trying it, you should. You will

The food was wonderful. Everything was cooked well and perfect tasting. So often do you run into a place that pretty good, but you know that if they added this one thing, or took away that one thing, it would be perfect. But they dialed it in just right here. Amazing

A drink here was about $17. The wraps are only available before noon and cost $15. If you want the wrap deconstructed after noon it's $20 for a plate. I wouldn't visit this place again. Just overpriced Mediterranean food and drinks.
Very mid and expensive… small portions

One of the very best Mediterranean restaurants around. The beef kebab was the most tender and juicy one I have ever had. The Lule and chicken was also very tasty and not dry at all. The portions were large and had great value. The interior is mainly a bar and there are lots of drink options, with plenty of seats and beautiful design.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lunch was not crowded. Food and service was good. The waitress took it upon herself to bring a candle with dessert to help us celebrate a birthday.
Honestly one of the best mediterranean restaurant’s I’ve ever eaten at. The music is great, the service is great, that black bartender is hilarious, blm ✊🏽. Anyways would definitely recommend!
Went with a friend and her husband. They have been there several times I have not. It was great the Middle Eastern food was fantastic and the drinks were amazing.
Absolutely incredible place! Fresh and inviting atmosphere, friendly service, and the authenticity of the food is an A+. I'm out of state but I'm totally coming back with family and all on our next trip. I highly recommend it!
