Very cool, very groovy, very casual and fun place. No pretense or bullcrap. Come in, have a drink, have some fun and soak up the good vibes.
Large venue. Great local, friendly waitstaff. Really neat area that is largely ignored by greater Los Angeles, which makes it a hidden paradise.

Is the a/c broken or are they just being cheap? An open door and ceiling fans don't cut it when it is 105 degrees! There is no breeze or cool air to circulate and you probably waste energy with the door open. I wanted to enjoy the bands but when you are stuck to the seats with your legs dripping, it's not a pleasant atmosphere.
I like the place and the events but you need to make the temperature comfortable if you want people to stick around. I probably won't...

Outstanding all around service. All employees very attentive and friendly. Filled with fun activities throughout the week, great specials on food and drinks ?. Lots of great music on the weekends with live bands.
