One of few places in Southern California that actually offers vegan talai. The naan garlic bread is out of these world. What I also love that they can make low salt food too and they have vegan mango lassi. Food is clean, so delicious and the employees are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you are in area.

A very warm welcoming traditional Indian place to eat with family and for a date asd well. They serve hot and fresh appetizers like crispy stuffed mushrooms which i never saw in another Indian restaurant , cauliflower Manchurian is hit. Mahan serves more of the traditional north Indian style food and keep focus on its originality .Lot of vegan and vegetarian options. Mahan have two locations one in Alhambra downtown and second one in the city of Monrovia , Downtown area with nice patio. Love this place!!!

The Manchurian was excellent, but the other dishes were bland and lacked spicy heat. This place has lots of veggie options, but is not exclusively vegan.

Great Indian food right in downtown Monrovia. The pumpkin curry is one of our favorites. Surprising to me as I didn't even want to try it. They'll make you a vegan mango lassi. This is not fast food. Everything is made to order. Keep that in mind.

We have been wanting to try this place and glad we did. I believe they close between lunch and dinner because they were just opening at 5:00pm when we arrived. We had the Manchuria cauliflower as an appetizer...omg, it was sooooo good. Crunchy on the outside, perfect amount of sweetness with a pop of spice. My favorite! Note: fried and definitely not healthy ? pumpkin curry was good, Chana masala was good and loved the baingan bharta. Had unsweetened iced tea, had a hint of cinnamon, very good. We came on a Wednesday night, restaurant was just opening, within minutes, most tables were full. The manager was surprised so many people arrived on a weekday at the same time, but handled it with ease. We mentioned it to him and he joked that he didn’t think he was going to be so busy and was calling employees to come in. They arrived to help within minutes and our dinner went smoothly. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, made suggestions for vegan items. I will definitely go back. Oh and you have the choice of ordering your food with spice of mild, medium or spicy.
