I go to MaiYaj almost every other week, and I’ve never had a bad meal from them. My girlfriend is celiac, and we have a tough time trying to find restaurants that are safe for her. She has never once gotten sick ordering meals that are labeled gluten free. It’s been wonderful having this good food in this little town. This hidden gem is definitely worth going a little out of the way for.

The food was delicious. We had a party of 4 and we order crab ragoons, shrimp spring roll, spicy papaiya salad, Thai fried rice, chicken drunken noodle, a Hawaiian dish, and combination pho.

Staff was pleasant and service was great. The summer rolls consisted of mostly lettuce and did not taste like it was washed thoroughly. We had the pad thai and curry and both included over cooked tofu that had a consistency of rubber and was not described as an ingredient on the menu. The curry dish was bland and included huge chunks of vegetables that required more cutting to eat. Price was reasonable, bathroom was dirty with no seat covers and no hot water to wash with.
