The Tortas were really delicious and the only reason I rated it a 4 because it's a very messy type of food that you have to eat with your hands and if you do not like strong clove seasoning on your food good luck, this torta is delicious but the clove might overpower the taste.
Tortas were delicious! Estilo GDL. The tacos dorados were a bit underwhelming lacking a bit of flavor but overall a great choice and authenticity. Can’t wait to come again for another torta!
Some of the best tortas ahogadas you can get in the greater Los Angeles area. Doesn't get more authentically Guadalajara than Chago's. They use real 'Birote Salado' not sourdough baguettes. That means you really have to soak the crust before you can cut into the torta.
