The variety and freshness of the sweet breads was mind blowing. Loved the wooden cases, very old world style. Clean, organized, and great prices. Tryed the red pork tamales they were to die for. ❤️
If I was rating on bread and sandwiches ? ONLY this place would be *5* star, BUT they also sell menudo? and tamales . The tamales are just okay, it's not their specialty so if I'm craving one then sure, I'll just grab one whole there otherwise I would just take the bread.Still reasonable prices in 2022. $0.90-$2.50 bread (specialties). So you can pick up most of the simple pan dulce for under $1.Sugar cookies are also good. ? Flan ? and gelatinas usually available....
