The food was terrible. I returned my food to the server. I told him that my fries weren’t fully cooked. They were still rowing in the middle and she made a A rude comment about I ate Half of the food and Did a little laugh and offered me a small order of chili cheese fries and gave me a dirty look so I said thank you very much and I kindly walked away from her and threw the food away very unhappy with their service but they try your luck only gave it a star because that was the only way I could write a review

I have been going to the OX for years. Today so disappointed. Ordered a steak sandwich and fries and a side of ranch, no drink. 22 dollars and the steak had a mouth full of gristle and fat in every bite and not the first this happened. What happened to this place? Looks like I will visit Doublez more often

Simply the best burgers, fries, and onion rings in the EastLos/Montebello area. Burgers (and servings of fries and rings) are HUGE, and are always made to order - No microwaved anything here. One of the bigger burgers and a couple of sides will serve two hungry people. No Joke.

The ladies here are so nice! Go just for the service. The grilled chicken sandwich is excellent!
We ordered pastrami with onion rings. And they charged us $1.99 for the onion rings. When we get home open the box, there was no onion rings only french fries. The cashier was very nice and the food tasted good. Next time I have to check everything before I leave the restaurant

Any time I am in the greater LA area, I HAVE to stop by here. The burgers are amazing and my wife is a huge fan of the pastrami.
The service is amazing and everyone is so friendly. This last time I went, there was an earthquake while we were sitting and eating. The cashier lady almost fell over from the quake but her first thought was to make sure all the customers were ok before shaking it off. Obviously an extenuating circumstance, but it speaks to the quality of the people working here.

Let me start by saying the food is delicious. There guacamole is soooo good. Service is great they took our order super nice employee she brought our food to the table. There salads are delicious. I recommend this spot.
