Food is delicious and addicting. Love the chicken kabob dinner, the house salad and dressing, the hummus and pitta chips, and omg the tabbouleh! The people are always very nice too. Theres a fancy dinner side and the other room is a little run down (could be worked on a little bit) but overall I love it. To go is always a good option too.
This place has horrible customer service. If you can’t let dine in experiences happen don’t do them at all. “Oh but these are my neighbors” such a lame excuse! Go to John kabobs! Good food, good service, dine in and worth it!
Their falafel, yummy! Fresh, soft in the inside, crunchy in the outside. The best!
No bueno, went in on a Sunday. It was empty, I should have known anyways I ordered (that took a while) you a only had one older woman taking orders, but no one was there? We asked for water and the cup had like food crumbs at the bottom. I thought it was the table so I lift up the cup and notice that stuffs INSIDE my drinking water(that I didn't drink thank God). Dont visit this place looks outdated and not what it used to be. Yes I ate my food hopefully I don't get food poisoning.
It's ok.. take to go trust meInside kinda ghetto Jesus.Women in charge give dirty looks. Big nose ?. And hummus to the shitz. Get the chicken breast sw. And salad and rice
Best Armenian and Mediterranean food in Montebello. This is my go to spot when I come and visit my mom down the street. Their portions are very generous and priced very well. Their quality of vegetables and meat is excellent. You can taste the love in every bite and it never fails that it is top notch every time. I recommend getting the roasted veggies with the rice pilaf. Lamb is excellent! Their lentil soup is my favorite and go to when it gets colder! I’ve been coming here when they took over previous owners of House of Kabab. I will continue to support local and family owned. If you haven’t tried eating here you’re missing a gem!
Great local restaurant. The combos with your choice of kebab or lule was great. I had the chicken and beef. My son had the chicken with lamb. Both were excellent. The meat was tender. The sides we got were the bulgar wheat which was seasoned perfectly and the pilaf was great too. I also had the spinach which was seasoned well and not overcooked. Highly recommended.NOTE: as of 7/4/22, they are still take out only. You can order through other delivery services as well. I highly recommend calling your order in directly and picking up on your own.
Great service, take out only, food was cooked / warmed to order so a bit of wait. Quality has dropped since my last visit. Get ready to eat a lot of onion..
My first time at this place. The lamb kabobs were outstanding, salad so fresh also the hummus taste so freshly made nothing can compare to this better than anything bought at the store. Definitely will come back
This is one of my favorite hole-in-a-wall restaurant in Montebello. They serve delicious Mediterranean food, it always taste fresh and the portions are generous. This place never disappoints. We like to get the lamb, chicken and beef kabob with pilaf rice and mashed potatoes. We also get the Armenian salad and it’s one of my absolute favorite. The dressing is super simple and the flavor is so fresh and crunchy (cucumbers). Love that this place has great service and they serve the food fairly quickly. Can accommodate large groups easily as the restaurant is huge on the inside.

Stopped here because it was one of the higher rated Mediterranean places in the area and I didn't want to go to a chain restaurant. Ordered the filet mignon kabob with the sautéed potatoes and the roasted vegetables. Absolutely delicious! I wish there was more to the vegetables (it was a roasted pepper and a roasted tomato) but besides that the potatoes were super flavorful and complemented the meat quite well. The beef was so soft and the flavor was great, very moist. If I lived closer I would definitely come again!
Food is always fresh and delicious. We are vegetarian and are able to get the falafel sandwich, Armenian salad, and hummus.
Such a let down, me and the wife had been coming for years, we would always take extra food to go for the family. Today we decided to give it a try after a year or so, and what a disaster it was. Fish looks like it was microwaved and it stinks bad! The mash potatoes and rice are very bland. We paid $60 even left a tip and I'm throwing the dish to the trash wouldn't feed it to the dog.
Small place that's a bit hard to find but boy am I glad I didn't give up. The food was amazing and you could taste the freshness. I'm sorry there not closer to me because I'd be eating there all the time. Try them... They don't disappoint.
Went in at 7:40 to place take out order and was told the kitchen was closed - they advertise 9:00 p.m. tried to go in because the online platform didn't allow me to specify sides and they don't always understand me when I call in. Boooo!
