I live right next to a Kalaveras but I've never noticed it. I also never noticed how many Kalaveras locations there were around the area.
We were on our first date at a coffee shop nearby and I had brought up how hungry I was and she recommended we try this place out because we were both craving Mexican food.
She recommended the Enchiladas Verde so that's what I ordered. It was delicious and that sauce was amazing! I highly recommend it to all you enchilada enthusiasts. Chips and salsa were also served with our meal which is always a nice touch.
I don't remember our server's name but she was checked up on us very frequently and was just great overall.
I will definitely be back in the near future and will try their drinks as well!

This place has gone downhill over the past couple of years. I remember when the margarita pitchers were actually well made and hand crafted. Nowadays they serve premix margaritas and you're basically drinking just the mix with a hint of tequila. And the food is over priced. Only the happy hour food/price is worth it.

Taco Tuesday here is nothing short of outstanding! The tacos were absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and made with high-quality, perfectly seasoned meat. Each bite was a reminder of how tacos should be done.
What really elevated the evening was the happy hour—exceptional value and even better drinks. The cucumber margarita slushy deserves a special mention: incredibly refreshing, well-balanced, and dangerously good. Easily one of the best margaritas I’ve had in a long time.
Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service, and a menu that delivers on all fronts. If you’re a taco lover or just looking for a fun and flavorful night out, this spot should be at the top of your list.

I absolutely hated this place I ended up spending a hundreds dollar for food that wasn't even appetizing I actually got sick when I left the service was horrible I would never be going back we actually ended up leaving this place and going to hole in One literally like three buildings down from this place and that place was amazing please go there it's called a hole in one do you have better drinking options that are way affordable and the customer service was amazing
I've been to the one by puente mall. And wow what a difference, I sore this restaurant off cuz of my experience there. And let me tell u, montebello restaurant was a better experience. All your workers go above and beyond. Make u feel like they are inviting u into their home. I love it there. And I will definitely have my personal or work lunches there. It was my mom's birthday and the whole experience for her was awesome!!! Thx u all especially the pregnant waitress, im sorry I don't remember your name. But man ol' man u are great. Congratulations on your 1st daughter being born mija!!!!

I am very disappointed. Money spent only to get sick and.this was our first visit (today) at this restaurant. I will say the customer service was great, but there was a foul stench by the booth that we were sitting at. It was giving dirty mop water, or a sewer problem! ( And normally, I would walk out of a place like that bcuz I eat with my nose & eyes 1st, but my husband insisted on trying it out). The kicker was….the steak had no flavor, it was dry as sandpaper & that food made both my husband and I sick as hell almost immediately (i’m talking vomiting)!! WE will NEVER eat there again or AT ANY OF THE LOCATIONS! Smh!!

2nd time i go.. i got reprimanded by the waiters because they were busy and i walked up to the bar to get my drink….. wow.. i still tipped them 20 bucks… very dissapointed in their service. They lost a good customer….”the establishment chewed out the customer… unacceptable and classless on all levels…. If they correct this mistake , then we can forget this moment….. if they dont well then, their you go… Waiter , grey hair short flat top, clear glasses…..
