Food was great. The soup was outstanding as was everything else. The music was a bit loud and was a little hard to hear for our meeting.

The food was great but the service was not good. They seated us, and we had to wait an additional 15 ten minutes for our drinks. The food was served before the drinks. I ordered an additional plate that took forever because the waitress didn't add it to our bill. This place has the potential to be really amazing if they get the front of house in order.

I had went here yesterday around 6 after work and man, the food was so good! The staff were nice and friendly, I had gotten the udon soup and super Philly roll and man! They both were sooo good😍I even came back around 9 with my bf because I wanted to show him this place and he loved the udon soup as well! I got a different roll and it was the Snow White roll, I didn’t take a picture but that roll tasted amazing! Amazing flavor and combo of the cream cheese and teriyaki sauce 🤤Definitely coming back soon!

I’ve been a Montebello resident since 2021 and in the 5 years I’ve been living here I can tell you that a quality sushi experience at great prices and friendly atmosphere is what OJI thrives in. Be prepared to be welcomed by the best appetizers, some of my favorite include garlic chili edamame and shishito peppers. The chefs behind the sushi are class acts - especially Chef Sam, he will greet you with a smile and the best dressed nigiri sushi and specials rolls anywhere. He’s turned into good friend aside from being a longtime patron here and having him as my favorite chef. If you come to Oji, your previous experiences will pale in comparison to this local gem.
