This place was very noisy. Horrible slow service. I asked for no tomatoes on my sandwich and I got them. Waitress was fooling around and didn’t write any orders. Plus she forgot them multiple times times!

Authentic Mexican flavorful food on a Sunday afternoon. Many customers arriving. A single mariachi singer sang beautifully against a karaoke setup. Sounded like a whole mariachi group was inside restaurant! 🎻

Was craving chilaquiles, so thought I’d give Playa Baja a try. I ordered them red with carne asada. Service was satisfactory; however the chilaquiles were barely okay. They were loaded with salt and included more than a hint of cinnamon or cloves which was totally unnecessary for a chilaquiles plate. The carne asada was greasy and came chopped up on the side, and the beans were bland. Overall… bleh and won’t be returning.

Food was delicious the service could be a little better, you only get one free serving of Tortilla chips, I don't understand that one. I had the Steak Picado I thing the order should come with three flower tortillas instead of just two.
