Was kinda disappointed, being Salvi I found these not authentic and overpriced.
The truth is, the place is very nice, the girl is friendly but I really had a bad time about the food, first on the sign they have a price and when it comes time to charge you it is more expensive, and after that the prices are more expensive than in other pupuserias , they gave me burnt food, and instead of giving me a new plate, they only gave me my money back but didn't give me the option to replace my plate so I basically wasted my time

Went to this location to buy pupusas, I ordered 2 pupusas and a sprite after waiting 30 minutes I asked how long it would take no one could give me an answer and just stared at me so I asked to refund my money or if they had the order to please give me my order. Then the lady in the back just said just give her the money so she can go away. That was rude and disrespectful. Will never ever go back.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SALVADORAN food in all of LA! The pupusas are fat, they’re not too greasy and they are always consistently amazing! My favorite is the revuelta (pork, cheese and beans), it’s so good I don’t even need sauce or cortido. Also DONT SLEEP ON THE STEAK FRIES! OMG the steak fries, they literally are meant to be shared but I have been known to smash the entire box on occasion 😂

Good food!. Our second time ordering here. The first time we ordered, it was pretty close to closing time 9p. I noticed the edge of the pupusa was very slightly undercooked. I thought maybe because it was close to closing time and they rushed?? Second time was better. Just try to order before 830p.Will keep coming back.

I has a mixed experience at Vchos Truck
My family and I recently were at Vchos Truck and ordered a variety of dishes. We were excited to try the Plátano Plate, Beans & Cheese Pupusas (Vegetarian), and Loaded Steak Fries. While our expectations were high, the experience had its ups and downs.
Firstly, let me commend the waitress who was handling everything alone. Despite our order being a bit mixed up, we understood the situation and appreciated her efforts. The mix-up wasn't a dealbreaker, as we could see the challenging circumstances she was managing.
However, I must say that the Tomato salsa lacked the burst of flavor we were hoping for. It felt a bit lackluster and left us craving more taste to complement our dishes.
Moving on to the food, the Plátano Plate was a double-edged sword. While it had a delectable taste, the greasiness was a bit overwhelming. It would have been perfect with a touch less oil, but we still enjoyed the flavors and unique combination.
The Beans & Cheese Pupusas were indeed delicious, though a tad on the greasy side as well. The gooey cheese and well-seasoned beans were highlights, but again, the excess grease slightly took away from the experience.
Vchos Truck has been a go-to spot for us on numerous occasions, and it's unfortunate that this visit didn't live up to our previous experiences. I still stand by my recommendation, as I believe this place usually delivers tasty and satisfying food. It's worth noting that we'll likely choose a day when there's more than one person working to ensure a smoother dining experience.
In conclusion, while our recent visit to Vchos Truck had its flaws, I believe it was an outlier. The potential for a fantastic meal is definitely there, and I'm looking forward to returning on a day when the staff has more support to truly enjoy the delicious offerings this place has to offer.

The food is delicious, the only thing I feel is that the prices are higher than in a Salvadoran restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Yes it is a family environment.

Pupusas are yummy they cost more than other places but flavor is good and their salsa and curtido are tasty as-well. I also tried a chicken tamal and was pleasantly surprised how yummy it was. I will have to try more of their offerings. Don’t enjoy the courtyard at their location people eating in the general area odd, yuppie but I get food to go so I push thru and parking not ideal so I must like these cause I’ve swung by 3 times since I found this place

Came here for the famous pupusas. It is not an actual trucks this is a very cute courtyard with a few containers, and each containers are occupied by different food vendors. Vchos truck is one of the vendors. Ordered pork, bean, and cheese pupusas, and plantano plate. It took a while for us to get our food, but it is ok because it means that food was freshly made. Plantano was served with sweet creme and beans. It was freshly made and very tasty. The pupusas were a little disappointed as it has a lack of flavor and tasted very blended. Server was very friendly. I will just come back for plantano next time.
