It's dirty there and smells bad inside where you eat. So we decided to eat outside. The tables were dirty out like no one ever cleans them. I most likely will not eat at this location again. Although I love zankou chicken in general. This is my first time having a bad experience. The menu at this location also looks different. So I asked the staff if it was a franchise. The gentleman at the counter stated that particular location was only only franchise so far. So perhaps...

The food here is different than west LA Glendale or Hollywood is not as good as far as the taste. I wanted to tell the guy at the counter but it felt useless that he wouldn't care at all. I been a big fan of Zankou chicken visited almost all the locations but this place never again very disappointed 😞 Montebello not recommended

I stopped in for a bite and was seriously impressed — the Mediterranean chicken was absolutely delicious. Flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in their food.

Later, I happened to be working on a sign nearby and needed a photo of the finished work after dark. No one else in the shopping center would help, but the folks at this restaurant kindly stepped up and took the photo for me. That small act meant a lot — it says a lot...
